Some of you may be aware that our 'Super Girl' Stephany is on her way to Manchester this morning and will be staying over here for a while. So I just wanted to say "Welcome to the UK Stephany - hope you have a great time and I look forward to meeting up with you again soon!!"
Love Grant

Hi Stephany, Welcome to England's green and pleasant land! I didn't realise that today was the day although I am sure you told me when it would be. I hope you find Manchester to your liking and that you enjoy every minute of your time in the UK. Love, Roger

I hope you enjoy your time here. I lived in Manchester for a while myself, and I can honestly say I really enjoyed it, and I have to say although no doubt I'll get flamed, much more than London. Another city I once lived in is Paris, and I enjoyed that more than London too (I'd better put my head down now. No disrespect meant, just a personal opinion).

Hi Grant and everyone, Thank you VERY much for your kind words. I arrived safely in Manchester on Friday and visited the city during the weekend. The weather was okay so I'm not complaining! My flatmates are younger than me (17-18 years old!) so I feel a little bit old, haha. Anyway, the city is great for shopping so it should be a really exciting year I also bought a small bar of 'G&B' chocolate as a personal welcome gift Lots of love or 'Cheers' (everyone is saying that over here!) Stephany

Hi Stephany Glad to hear you arrived safely. I was beginning to get a little worried when you didn't log on over the weekend. It has been very quiet without you! How are you getting on with your flatmates? Are they aware of Hayley yet?? Lots of love Grant

Stephany Excellent! Stephany, you made it to the true home of football (the Red side not the blue one!) and to where I spent the first and wonderful four years of my professional career in financial services, near Manchester University, 40 years ago! I bet Mister Smiths night club and Barons Bier Keller in the city Centre aren't still open (no questions! ). Roughly whereabouts are you staying? I may remember the area. As for Chris, all i have to say to you is: "watch it, fella!" Cheers, Dave

Hello everyone and thanks for the warm British welcome ! Grant, my flatmates are not aware of Hayley yet, but it probably won't last! I had my first day at the University of Manchester this morning. I met a lot of people from all over the word so it was very interesting. Roughly whereabouts are you staying? I may remember the area. I am staying in a residence hall situated on Sackville Street, not very far from Manchester-Piccadilly. The Bridgewater Hall is quite close too and I've already booked a ticket for a Russell Watson concert Cheers, Stephany
