Hi Richard, Close one, you nearly have it , It's bow as in 'bow for the audience' and then 'rawn'. Emmett I will bow (as in bodhrán, lol) to your superior knowledge, Emmett but it doesn't quite rhyme with "lawn", does it? Isn't it more like "-rohn" with a shorter vowel sound - making it more like "lawn" after the grass has been cut? Roger

Hi everybody,
I play contemporary guitar (electric and acoustic) and piano mainly, but I dabble with drum kit, voice and penny whistle too. I'm studying for a degree in music at the moment which mainly involves theory but I do like to write music, and occasionally perform when I'm not feeling shy!

I play the piano and flute, although I haven't played the flute in a couple of years since my teacher went to college.

ok so I played recorder at primary school, started flute in year 5( would have started yr 3 but couldnt because my arms were too short and music teacher wouldn't let me start on piccolo!!!!), really basic piano-scales and stuff, I sing as well.

I'm scratching my head here. I can't believe I haven't responded to this yet! I must have responded to one just like it somewhere else. Let's see I play Piano (though I don't take lessons any longer), French Horn, and Didgeridoo. I know how to play the Recorder, but haven't played one in a while.
I also know how to play short, simple songs such as Mary Had Little Lamb or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the Violin, Clarinet, Trumpet, and Flute.

[/size] Have you noticed Caite, it's not the easiest instrument to play "Flight of the Bumblebee" on.

Have you noticed Caite, it's not the easiest instrument to play "Flight of the Bumblebee" on. Have I noticed? Have I tried? But yes, it's not easy to play on any instrument (have you heard Bobby McFerrin singing it? ). Maybe I'll attempt it one day, record it and send it along for everyone to have a good laugh! <3 Caite
