Thanks for posting this Belinda, it's good that the Hayley duet is on the NZ version! The advertising sems to have worked a treat, it's been in the NZ charts for 5 weeks now and it's climbed from 23, 22, 21, 16 then shot up to no. 4 this week! However, non-NZ members beware! Hayley's duet is missing from those versions - although there are several other duets with other singers included... including his all-Italian version of Vivo Per Lei with Giorgia (which isn't as good as Hayley's "live" version from Gotta Skate a couple of years ago). I do wish they could agree to record this for an album of Andrea or Hayley, it would go very down well in English speaking Countries and it would be the only version in English-Italian. Incidentally, this album has been out now for three weeks in the UK, static at no. 8 in the album chart (new albums almost always slide after their first week) and this week, it looks like climbing to about no. 6. It will undoubtedly be the biggest selling classical crossover album in the UK this Christmas - even out-selling Katherine Jenkins' new smash-hit album. It's not doing quite as well in the US charts, where it peaked at no. 9 and is currently no. 30 in its 5th week (but it's just started climbing again). It's on my Christmas present list for family Cheers, Dave

Just got Vivere yesterday, together with 'Hayley Westenra' and 'My Gift to You'- and now I can't stop listening to it. Guess it has something to do with favouritism.

Yea sure... And now I'm broke after spending half of my monthly pocket money on HW and MGTY. It's worth it though. However I was kinda thrilled to see them there yesterday- they have long been absent since I last saw them probably a year ago.

Hi everyone, This album's been released in NZ in the last quarter of 2007, and I jsut got the copy. If anyone has this album, looking at the lyrics in the booklet, they've put the lyrics of a completely different version of Dell'Amore Non Si Sa. I mean, it's not even close. Are there different versions to this song? That's a pretty big mistake, if you ask me.... Plus, they spelt Hayley's name in the acknoweldgement part as 'Hailey'. I mean, who writes this stuff? :2fun:
What does everyone think?

I think this is the album I bought at the last minute the other night. LOL I had a 24% off coupon from Barnes & Noble in my inbox, and I only had till midnight to figure out what I wanted to get. I don't usually use the coupons unless I really have something in mind to get, but this is a bigger discount than they usually offer, so I decided to check out the Andrea Bocelli albums. I decided on this one because it has his most popular songs, plus it has my most favorite song of his, the 3rd track, as listed above. Aside from Time to Say Goodbye, it's the first song I ever heard by him, and it was when US champion Todd Eldredge skated to it. I always looked forward to seeing him skate to this program, since there were a lot more ice shows on TV back then where he got to use it. I barely realized there was a DVD too, but I'll be sure to check that out when it arrives. Oh, the reason I ordered it at, literally, the last minute, was because I had been listening to clips from several different albums, and I was slowly running it down the wire. I finally decided on this one. But when I tried to log in, it kept telling me it was incorrect, and I tried the my most common passwords (I realized what it probably was just now, but anyway... ) So, I signed in as a guest instead, since I'm usually really fast at typing in all my info. The problem was, they already had my e-mail address in the box, because they apparently recognized me. But, when I tried to order, it told me it was from another user! Well, why did they put it in for me if they didn't want me to use it? And then, I had trouble finding where to go to fix it. Then I had to think up a new password. LOL So anyway.... I finally placed the order at 11:58pm PST, and the cut off was 11:59!

Yes, I've been locked out of sites like that Libby. One of them was Hayley's Official Forum for several year (that was a long time ago though).

I finally listened to my new album yesterday. I enjoyed it very much, most of the songs I will definitely be adding to my mp3 playlist. The only songs I didn't listen to were The Prayer and Because We Believe, because I ran out of time, but I'm familiar with them. I only wish it had Nessun Dorma on it; maybe I'll get it on another CD sometime, or just download it. I do have Sarah's version, of course, and I enjoy that very much. I have yet to watch the DVD, which is supposed to be Live at the Statue of Liberty in New York.

I have to say it's very nice to finally have a recording of Vivo Per Lei, even if Hayley is not singing it. Giorgia (Fumanti?) is an excellent duet partner for Andrea Bocelli. I still hope Hayley puts her own version of the duet on an album someday... if she ever has an album.

A bit of Googling has revealed that it is Giorgia Todrani en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giorgia_(singer)
