Hello again Graeme! I struggled with the search engine for a long time, but eventually the results made sense when I set it to show posts instead of topics (bottom left). You can also set it to show the first 1,000 characters of each post instead of the first 200 (bottom right). Searching might not be very reliable, because 'Hayley' is often misspelt! Hope this helps. Richard Not that I use this site at all but as a further guide to Hayley misspellings, rather like the classic 'teh' I find I often type 'k' in place of the 'l', so that might help to track down more Hayley references. I try, but do not always manage, to spellcheck before sending but others may not be so pedantic. No, it isn't pedanticism, its courtesy! If you can't take reasonable care over what you write why should it be read seriously? Peter

Richard, Thanks for your trouble once more! Sometimes I've gone back to one of my posts (I often lose them) & found I've mispellt Hayley!
Goodness knows how many times I've typed that word out.
One of the ways I've found handy to read one of her entries is to use 'leyx' as the searching string because she always put's at least one 'x' after her posts. Graemek

Hello again Graeme! Searching might not be very reliable, because 'Hayley' is often misspelt! Richard Hi Richard and Graeme! The misspelling problem was very serious in the early days with most posts spelling either Hayley or Westenra or both(!) wrong but as time has gone on, that problem has diminished. However, I still search as follows (and I've seen all those variants in the I.D. forum!):
I'm sure there must be one or two variants that I've missed but all the above have appeared in that forum at times! You only have to type it all in once, as the next time you do a search, hitting the first letter remembers the previous phrase and it takes only one more click to fill in the search box. I hope that helps! Even though the tour is nearly over.... (what are we going to do with our time? i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif ) Cheers, Dave

Hello Dave! Thanks for the information, but I've found it easier to look through each thread in turn, starting from the time I last looked, remembering that all times are GMT. I don't think the search engine would have found one of the quotes I've just posted on the Barcelona thread! Best Wishes, Richard

Hi Richard,
You must use both methods if you want to find all "Hayley" stuff! Comments about her not infrequently appear in threads all over the place in that forum...
Cheers, Dave

As for the last part, 'do with our time?' She's in the UK, doing (more or less) her own thing for June and July! That will keep us all very busy ACTUALLY BEING THERE! as well as keeping people up to date with how things are going! The question to ask, is not what we will do but what is Hayley doing following her return (supposedly on holiday with family in NZ) mid-August on? Now that IS a question!? Peter
