Hello everybody! There's a little mention of Hayley in Vienna on Il Divo's forum. Katrin wrote:- I wonder if Hayley started late deliberately to give the audience more time to be seated. Perhaps lessons have been learnt! Richard

From what I read it's because of the demonstrations of the EU...perhaps they were aware that people might be late and started just a little late. So I guess you could say it was to give the audience more time to be seated! <3 Caite

Hi all, nothing against Hayley - but in general I hate it, if any performance, conference or meeting doesn’t start punctionally on time. This is an insult for all people who are precisely. A lot of people are simply so lazy to move their a**** in good time. When I buy a ticket, so I make a contract with the promoter about content, price and exact date and I expect a realization in a very good quality - and this means a punctionally beginning too., Greetings Lothar

There's a dilemma here that's impossible to avoid: If Hayley starts punctually but the audience is still seating itself then that compromises the enjoyment for those already sitting. But if she waits until everyone's in place she runs the risk of offending those who feel they've waited too long. It's too bad the concert organizers have not been able to ensure everyone is where they belong at curtain time. We've seen dozens (yes, dozens!) of complaints about concertgoers still filing in when Hayley starts her set. Common sense is to allow for some wiggle room in the schedule. Five or ten minutes is not asking too much, especially if you've waited a lifetime to hear a voice as remarkable as Hayley's.

Late Start It Strikes me Caite just hit the nail on the head when she mentioned the EU demonstrations that were scheduled to take place in Vienna on that afternoon. The Il Divo guys came (see forum) very early so as to avoid locked up traffic. Any who've been in Europe in Summer, or Spring for that matter, with the consequent heavy traffic would understand this completely. Likewise from the Zurich (Il Divo) forum one lady, at least, refers to the heavy traffic she encountered there on her way to the Stadium. Seems it was almost totally unavoidable. Graemek

Hi All, a little more from Vienna: From Katu Il Divo forum 'Then we were lurking around the venue a bit, met with my cousin Maja, Sasha also from the forum and this really nice Canadian lady, saw the president of Venezuela, saw anti-Iranian-war demonstrations, I mean a total mess.
OK, to the concert: I had really good sits (row 32), so a bonus right away! To start with Hayley! That girl is amazing!!! I loved her performance. I mean what a voice, insane. I specially loved the song Across the universe of time. After her performance, at the break, we met some more forum divas, had a very quick&confused report from Katarina's meet&greet When the concert started I forgot to breath a little but I learned how it's done eventually. In the middle of Regresa a mi, I went up to the stage to took some "close ups" and since no one was telling us to go back to our seats I stayed there through the whole concert!'
