Hi Cinderella, and welcome to the forum. I think the important thing is how uneasy does this idiot make Hayley feel herself. It is, i am sure ,a very unpleasant feeling to be wondering when he will turn up next and this must spoil her enjoyment of the concerts and meeting her fans afterwards. As you say, Steve, I hope this kind of thing does not make her reluctant to spend time with fans after the show. Maybe we should all know what this bloke looks like so that we can keep an eye out for him. Stuart

Hi Stuart,
All I can say is that the guy that Richard and I encountered at St John's Smith Square last year was medium height and very stocky with long, slightly straggy hair. He spoke with an unusually soft, somewhat affected, voice and was clutching a small photo album. And he was German. He kept saying he was in love with Hayley (and with me!) and insisted on showing me the contents of the album. Photographs alternated between a very religious image (typically of Christ on the cross) and one of Hayley. I got the uneasy feeling that he saw them as one and the same person.
Apparently, this guy was taken into custody shortly before the concert was due to begin and not released until 11pm, hence the need to get Hayley away from the venue before that time.
I have to emphasise, though, that we do NOT know if this is the same person as was seen in Berlin last night. Lothar, do you notice any resemblance between the guy you saw and the one I described?
Roger

Hello everybody! Apart from Hayley's own management and security team, the vast majority of her real fans would step in very quickly if some nutter started causing trouble. I certainly would. From the reports, I don't think Hayley knew anything about the incident in Berlin until well after the situation had been brought under control, and I'm sure she won't allow this to affect the good relationship that she has always enjoyed with her fans. I'm relieved she is OK, and I hope there won't be any further trouble in Hamburg or anywhere else. Welcome to the Forum, Cinderella. I'm sure you will enjoy chatting with all Hayley's genuine fans here. Best Wishes from London, Richard

Hi Lothar!
Thanks for the photos. Other than the fact I had a little trouble locating them (I don't speak or read German), I liked them once I found them! I also look forward to reading the report, but don't rush.
Thanks Again!

Some More Updates from the Il Divo Forum: Monica Wrote: The next is a hodge-podge of posts from various members, but it includes a video from Chicago. I'm not sure if it's the same one we have here or not because I'm not able to watch it. If anyone can watch it I've posted the link below. It should be the fourth post down. ildivo.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=11363&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=390<3 Caite Edit: I enlarged the text in the quotes. Richard

Thanks from me too Lothar, Thanks too for any who've bid me welcome! I don't actually feel new as I've registered with the official HW site ,since September last I think, & am hopelessly hooked by Hayley's multiple charms. I also recognize the various names common to both sites & have chatted with several over the months. Among those that I recognize is Caite from Minnesota who's name is constantly appearing among the threads. Caite I notice you said you neither read or speak German. You may or may not know a site 'world lingo' which has excellent automatic translation service (no cost). Since I've been interesting myself with Hayley's songs (my wife is also hooked...she's German incidentally) naturally I've wondered 'whats that about ?' & have dumped eg. the Romanza lyrics into World lingo holus bolus & presto: quite a good understandable translation. You just have to guess the senses of words sometimes & rearrange the word order. I've done the same with Mio Babbino to my great amusement. It sounds very dramatic (& is a really beautiful song) until the lyric translation gives you the context!! Hope thats useful, Graeme

Hello everybody! Firstly, thanks to Caite for the snippets from Il Divo's forum. I enlarged the text in the quotes again to make them easier to read, and it's great to see Hayley getting so much support from the Divas. I'm saying that with affection, because I've been keeping a close watch on the Il Divo forum, and so far I haven't seen a single negative comment about Hayley while she's been in Europe. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI managed to watch the video, and it is the same one that was originally posted by Wendy. Ooh the drums! Secondly, thanks to Lothar for the photographs. I'm looking forward to reading your report, but there's no need to rush! Thirdly, thanks to Graeme for joining our forum. I certainly know you from Hayley's official forum, so I'll give you another warm welcome here. I'm looking forward to reading all your future posts on both forums! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Best Wishes from London, Richard

For reasons I don't recall, I wasn't able to watch the Chicago video the first time aroung but I have done so now thanks to the link supplied by Caite. I was particularly pleased to see the 'From A Distance' extract which I have not heard Hayley sing before. Lovely.

I'm sorry to say this stalker issue is escalating and there's an article about it in today's Sunday Express (thanks to Tilly Flop here at Il Divo Forum and to Vanessa for emailing me about it. I will enlarge and repost Tilly Flop's scan here (my thanks to her, perhaps I can get hold of a better copy later today) No cheers, Dave
