A lovely story Gerrit of your meeting in Helsinki and with Saara. It sounds like you both had a great evening and you have some excellent pictures. Thank you for sharing.

Yes indeed Roger and Richard, Tia it was - sat on my right at Wembley by the gangway - and very nice she was, too! I couldn't quite place her accent, thinking it was vaguely teutonic and now I know she's Finnish, I'm not surprised at all. But in fact, I think Tia is the only Finnish person I've ever knowingly met! My one regret is that I didn't get the chance to disturb her during Il Divo's performance - as I had apologised in advance and explained to her what would be happening... meeting Hayley... but it never did! Tia is the lady on the right of this photo (on David's left) the link having been copied from the Il Divo thread mentioned by Roger (well spotted!) Cheers, Dave Well when I tried the link I got an 'Oooops the picture isn't here' message so I have to ask the question seeing the picture might have answered, possibly. Perhaps 'Tia' is a common Finnish name? I wondered if she has a friend called Leah? A long long time ago (I daren't mention the years) I knew a Tia and Leah who were visiting England for a few months. Although memory is now saying Dutch rather than Finnish. Peter

Two more with photographs from Il Divo's forum. Carina in Finland wrote:- To see photograph, click here. Åsa (namupala) wrote:- To see photograph, click here. I've found out how to link directly to an individual post on Il Divo's forum. Note the start number at the end of the url when you are looking at the top of the relevant page, then work out the number of the post you want to link to by scrolling down and counting. Then change the start number in the url to the number of the post you want to link to, and copy and paste in the usual way. Note the first post in a thread is number 0. This method might fall apart if some of the posts get deleted later, but at least the required post shouldn't be far away! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Richard

Hello Saara! I've just welcomed you to Hayley's official forum, so I'd like to be the first to welcome you to OUR forum too. Unfortunately Roger's beaten me to it, so I'll have to be the second! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'm pleased you had a great time with Hayley in Helsinki, and I hope you will keep in touch with us all on both forums. I also hope your own singing career will be a great success! Best Wishes from London, Richard

Hi Richard
Thanks for collecting these clips. A common theme seems to be the way Il Divo fanns are uncomfortable with the way Hayley is treated during her performance. It's good to know that some fans really appreciated her music and were at the concert to listen to a good performance.

Hi Saara
Great to see you've joined the forum. You must still be on cloud nine after meeting Hayley last week. Thanks for sharing some great pictures and your music. I listened to some this morning and its very nice indeed. I am sure Hayley will listen too.
Hope to hear a lot more of you on the forum.

Thanks for your report from Finland Gerrit, and the lovely photos (lovely doesn't refer to you, LOL). I'm very pleased that your plans came to fruition in the end, after the disappointment of Rotterdam. Saara must have been delighted too, I wish i could have seen her face' in the flesh' so to speak, it must have been a picture! I think this is another example of how hard Hayley tries not to disappoint her fans and supporters if she can possibly avoid it! You must let us know what you thought of the concert itself when you get a minute - not forgetting the opening act! Good luck on your Australia trip - perhaps you'll find an internet cafe to keep in touch with things. Do they have the Internet yet in Australia? Cheers, Dave Hi all, It's just past midnight down under here in Australia - and I have managed to find the opportunity to log in. I am staying with my relatives - and they DO have internet connections here . I thought that Hayley was received with a touch more enthusiasm in Helsinki than in Rotterdam - whereas with Il Divo it was just the opposite. In Rotterdam, at the end of the regular concert, the audience gave Il Divo a standing ovation - this also happened in Helsinki, but the audience was much slower getting off their seats .... As to the program - it was identical to Rotterdam, as was the quality of the prformances, so I really don't have a lot to add to my comments about the Rotterdam concert. For me, the real highlight of Helsinki was getting to meet Saara, and witness her meeting with Hayley. Dear Saara, I am so pleased to see you have joined here, and I will treasure meeting you, your friend and your boyfriend and Hayley in Helsinki for the rest of my life. I really, really enjoyed it. As to everyone else here on the forum, if you check the second photo I posted here a number of days ago, you can see Hayley holding the letter and CD Saara gave her. And I am pleased to say, Saara als gave me a copy of that same CD . Moreover, a point I haven't highlighted yet - whereas Saara was at the concert as a guest of Hayley, really I myself was Saara's guest .... Thank you, Saara, your friend and boyfriend for your company that day. It was lovely. Gerrit
