The security guard we interacted with was very nice, so no problems there. I also prepared a smaller yellow rose bouquet for Hayley Westenra, to show my appreciation for her performance. Hi Cherie, welcome to the forum from me too - it's great to see you over here!

Thanks for the quote, and for reminding me to check "my" thread over at Il Divo, there's some really nice comments in there about Hayley! I feel bad for the Australian fans though, one or two are still hoping Hayley will somehow turn up there I think... oh well, next year perhaps.

Is Hayley going to be anywhere near you during her short solo tour of US and Canada in March? Here's Hayley's schedule.

this concert was well worth while... except for Il Divo... I am not a big fan of them. That was the first time that I saw them... and icky! But that is my opinion. I am sure others traveled great distances to see Hayley... but I just love the fact that I traveled 8hrs there spending approx. $400 (food, gas, hotel, tickets) to see her just for about 40min... IT WAS GRAND! and than travelled 8hrs back home... I will tell you my fiancee (almost wife [get married this saturday]) was not impressed... but meh, it was my last bachelor hurrah!

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the show, now thats commitment, 8 Hours there and 8 Hours Back! Thats the the sort of stupid thing I would do!

8 hours each way? Eek. The days when I did that are a long time in the past, although I guess I could do 4 (Boston/DC).

Yes 8 hrs each way. I am sure my days of doing that now are long gone aswell.
I made sure I tried to warm my wife up to Hayley... by buying one of the Hayley shirts at the concert. She likes the shirt, and also loves Hayley's voice, now.
