Hi Jenny, Yes it is. For me it is THE best. I don't watch it as often as I would like due to lack of time but, when I do, I get totally *lost* in its beauty. Oi, who said "get lost"? Roger

I assume you are referring to Hayley Westenra live?
I agree entirely and whether or not it had any effect but i really enthused heavily all over Steve that he should ensure it was continually available.
Whether coincidence or not, a week or two later I noticed it was available with her CDs at some of her concerts where booking arrangements allowed sales. I later heard they had run out and pressed some more!
I think it is absolutely superlative, the quality as rich as Hayley deserves, with the added delight of Sophie's performance, that lovely, winsome smile on her face as she exits stage right towards the camera.

Yes Peter. That is the name of the sub-board on which we currently find ourselves! Interesting that you remark on Hayley exiting stage right. It's a little trick she learned from Richard, you know! Roger

Roger!!!
It was Sophie who exits stage right towards the camera, leaving her big sister on stage!!!
However, I was going to post anyway to say the Wuthering Heights clip is superb. I forgot to check if the large version (64Mb) would download but even on (okay a mere 2.2Mb) broadband, it took too long to load so I had to make do with the second option.
Two things come from this, in my view.
1. Hayley's dress sense, while always excellent the combination of all black plus the scarlet dress really wows you, or it did me.
2. Hearing/seeing that again (Wuthering Heights) re-awakens the other thread about Hayley's moving around the stage. I implied it was a matter of context and in this video her movement is all with intent and in fact shows a far better sense of movement than on some of her other video captures, with the exception of the SoP one which I think was also well done.
More importantly, I think this Wuthering Heights video reminds us of what a 'shock' change it was to hear her do it; made me understand what the argument was about as to whether or not it should be included (ref: 'The World at her Feet') but more particularly seeing her jig to it on the 'Live in NZ' video, does make me question if she is too quiet or 'steady' on Odyssey.
She can do contrast, considerable contrast and I think she should ensure that CD 3 does indeed re-awaken the range and diversity that Pure gave us.

Hello Jenny, Peter and Roger! I totally agree that Hayley's DVD is the best concert DVD I've seen, although the only one I can compare it with is Russell Watson's, which comes a reasonable second thanks to Hayley's appearance! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifThat's an interesting point about Sophie exiting stage right. I always exit stage left, so maybe she was trying to avoid me, even though the DVD was recorded eleven months before I met her at Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre. She must be psychic! Oh I nearly forgot. Sophie was following behind when I escorted Hayley to the stage door at the London Palladium in March 2004, so she had seen me before! Richard

Hi everyone, The Live in NZ dvd was simply amazing!! Of all the dvd concerts I've seen, it's definitely one of the best if not the best. Unless Hayley and Andrea Bocelli decide to have a concert together, doubt there'll be another dvd that can compete! Now I feel like watching the dvd again... must resist so I can actually get some work done i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifAllen
