Hello again Dave, and thank you for the information. I won't be going to Manchester, but hopefully part of Hayley's performance will be shown on TV. This will give Hayley some useful publicity just before her new album is due for release here in the UK. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSee you at Hampton Court in two weeks time, Richard

Hi all,
I ordered one ticket for Manchester to be on the safe side, but I'm not sure if I could come, because I don't know if I can get a cheap ticket for flight from Berlin to Manchester. Perhaps I must sell this ticket at ebay or I can send it to any Hayley-Fan in U.K.
Regards, Lothar

Hi Lothar, Manchester Airport is 14.5 miles (23 kilometres) from Heaton Park, and the trip takes you right through the middle of Manchester. If you can sort out transport from the airport, you will be fine. Would you be staying the night in Manchester after the concert? I will be looking at hotels in the area for Roger a little later on so, if you would like me to send the information to you, I would be happy to do so. Cheers, Keith.

Thanks for the information, Keith. I have now booked for the Prom and the hotel so, anyone going to Manchester in September, I'll see you there! I make it exactly 100 days to go! Roger

A little information about the venue. It is an open-air venue, situated by the boating lake, next to Heaton Hall, in Heaton Park, Manchester. The capacity is 16,000, of which virtually half the tickets have now been sold. Gates open at 5pm Pre-concert entertainment commences at 6pm The concert commences at 7:30pm and ends about 11pm. That is excellent value for just £10.00 per ticket. If you do not have your ticket yet, book now as they are going fast. Below are two maps to help locate the venue. A map of the area by the entrance to Heaton Park Map is copyright of MultiMap and is presented here for information only A map showing the location of Heaton Hall within the park Keith.

Hayley to sing at the 2005 World Games: 'Moreover, the programme of the opening ceremony permits an exciting bridging between the varieties of nations. The Argentine star tenor José Cura will perform alongside the New Zealand Newcomer Hayley Westenra. The German Top star Nena will be another highlight, giving a short performance in the MSV-Arena. Likewise, the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra will have a “home match”, conducted by Jonathan Darlington, an Englishman who lives in Paris'.www.worldgames2005.de/en/news/news.php?id=635Emmett

Hi all, some days ago I sent an email to ARD (1.TV- Chanal) and ZDF (2.TV-Chanal) both wrote they will not transmit the opening event from the World Games. Also I'm not shure if I can go by train to Duisburg, but I try to do so. UNICEF Concert, London Piccadilly 22nd SeptemberI won't start a new thread because Keith knows more about this. However... Hayley's Official site have now announced details: Hayley Westenra and guests perform an exclusive show in aid of Unicef at St. James's Piccadilly in London on Thursday 22nd September 2005. Hayley will be performing songs from her hugely successful debut 'Pure' and from her beautiful new album 'Odyssey' (released 26th September in the UK). All proceeds from the concert will go to Unicef.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday 19th August for £25 and £20 and can be purchased through the Royal Festival Hall Box Office by phone on 08703 800 400 (9am - 8pm daily), by post and via their website: www.rfh.org.uk. "Good value, by the sound of it.
