Thanks Dave, You have company listening now ! Graham Tehe! I've been hooked since early this morning (currently enjoying James Horner's Titanic) waiting for Hayley and to see what they are going to play. I agree with you Dave - some fantastic music. Me thinks I don't listen to Classic FM nearly enough! Best wishes Grant

Hi guys, We are into the Silver Disc area now (60,000 shipments), the first of Hayley's albums to be played, Treasure, should be up soon (within the hour) Only a couple of minutes left Dave! Looks as though "Treasure" may be a little higher than predicted Best wishes Grant

Treasure is 70-odd thousand. Cheers, Dave (who has to go out soon but is recording the entire 48 hours of it! )

Hello Dave
This is weird!! I am currently upstairs in my office and have Classic FM playing on the computer. I also have the stereo playing downstairs. They were in sinc at one time, but it appears the stereo is now about one minute ahead of the 'Listen Live' facility.
Is that normal?
Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, yes - internet feeds often vary by a minute or two from "live" - but not always.
Cheers, Dave

Hi I am listening via the internet. They post the track on their home page but do not include the performer. You have to click on track details to see who the artist is even though the chart is by album/artist.

Having been out for much of the afternoon, I have just tuned in to Classic FM again. I immediately heard Hayley singing 'Bist Du Bei Mir' - what timing! It was announced that Treasure appears at No 45! CONGRATULATIONS HAYLEY... even though we know there will be greater things to celebrate in the next few hours! [Edit - Joe beat me by three minutes! You coulda waited for the track to end, Joe! ] Roger

Number 43 is the soundtrack to Lord of The Rings, so I think Hayley should take some of the credit for that with her wonderful "May It Be" and the New Zealand links of the film. By the way, if you're listening online, you can click on the playlist "more info" button and rate the song played (5 star for Bist du Beil Mir obviously, although 90% of the reviews so far give it 5 star anyway so I guess you've all done the same!) I understand how you feel, Joe. I think we all do. Perhaps it is worth mentioning that Pure's extraordinary success in the charts was so prolonged that I almost became complacent about it. However, I have never forgotten my excitement on the day that it first reached No 1. I think I leapt up, screamed "YES" and punched the air! Once again, my emotions are running just as high tonight! I understand how you feel, Joe. I think we all do. Also worth mentioning that sales quantity and quality don't always go in hand - EXCEPT IN THIS CASE! Not only is Pure the biggest seller, it is also, in my humble opinion, the best classical album of the century (or in fact any century). I'm not alone in this viewpoint if the results of this thread are considered: Poll - best Hayley album James
