Hayley's Christmas TV appearances were brilliant, and she certainly won many new fans during the festive season. Just imagine what would happen if Hayley's DVD was shown on prime-time TV! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif
I've been monitoring Hayley's daily rankings at Amazon.com (i.e. US Amazon) since the day Hayley arrived in the US for her Il Divo tour rehearsals. There was a nice steady but slow climb up the rankings - until today when things accelerated a bit. As Joe mentioned, repeat broadcasts of "Gotta Skate" were shown on Bravo! US on Friday evening and Saturday and I think we all know how well Hayley sang in that! Here are the rankings to date:
Shocking news from Amazon Canada tonight... Odyssey is at no. 31
Last three days:
206 1084 31
These jumps and drops are clearly associated with the first two 'Il Divo' Canadian concerts... but Canada Amazon is more volatile than US Amazon (where it's been slipping since the last concert there).
But, I mean, no. 31? Even if only for a day... Wow!

I saw that she was on WGN radio this morning in Chicago. The station broadcasts over the airwaves and via the net, making its potential audience huge.
I really feel that Hayley would be an "overnight sensation" in America if she would only get on the radio. It's very hard to nowadays on merit alone. You need to bribe the station's owners and programmers. Payola, as it's called, is an open secret in the radio business.
By the way Pure (N. American edition) is difficult to find on Amazon Canada and the order delay is quoted as 9 to 14 days. Not surprisingly, it's currently down around 26,000 in the rankings and the imported versions are higher!
