My usual weekly visit to ASDA reveals they no longer have Paradiso in the top 100 - therefore it is not on the shelves. It seems perverse timing that they removed it just when there is a huge upsurge in interest in Hayley because of the Rugby World Cup. Shot yourselves in the foot there ASDA!!

Paradiso was still in the top 100 album chart in my local Sainsbury's today - at number 90 Nice to see that at least one of the UK supermarket chains has good taste in music and still has Hayley's album on the shelves!

In my local Tesco Paradiso was in the top 100- at number 50 I was so pleased to see it still there- it isn't in any other supermarket I've been in the past week/fortnight...and our local HMV doesnt have it anymore, when I was in there someone asked for it and all the shop assistant said was they'd never heard of it hopefully the person has managed to find a copy though- they'll be missing out on a lot if not!! best wishes Sing

Thanks all above, Good to see that some supermarkets are bright enough still to have Paradiso in their chart! Clearly, Asda aren't very bright... Paradiso (no. 2 UK Classical Chart) and One Fine Day (No.1) are currently very close in the Amazon UK rankings, at no. 168 and 153 respectively, and I would expect there to have been a certain amount of impulse buying of Paradiso in the shops who have it this week. So there is a slight chance that Hayley could be back at no. 1 in the official classical chart on Sunday, or the week after (though Katherine is currently much higher in the official charts). The Soldiers have an album out this week, and Alfie Boe is next week but it's not clear to me if they will count as classical or not. And Andre Rieu's old albums are an ever-present danger... We shall see! Dave

Hi everyone, Paradiso is now nearly 50 places above One Fine Day at Amazon UK, it is #134 as I write (compared to #180 for OFD). Normally, this might suggest that Paradiso would overtake One Fine Day in the next official classical chart (tomorrow), however, it could be because Paradiso isn't as readily available in shops (Asda!) so some people have to order from Amazon instead. There are, of course, other dangers to Paradiso lurking in the undergrowth... Cheers, Dave

Hi -
Does anyone have any idea why Paradiso, on Amazon US, has suddenly spiked from down in the 500 - 600's up to 253 in Music, 11 in Classical Rock, 16 in Classical, at the moment? Anyone aware of any promotional work here in the US?

Have no idea... maybe because it's getting close to Christmas (sort of)? Maybe the people who already bought it and really like have decided to buy it for other people for Christmas? Always a possibility this time of year, I think. Maybe Amazon is having some deals? Sometimes I get e-mails recommending stuff to me, so maybe that's happening to other people. I get Hayley recommendations quite often. I can't imagine why. :rollin
Either way, I'm very pleased at the rise back up, even if it isn't as high as we'd like. It

Yeah, I actually asked my parents to get me Paradsio for Christmas! Even if they don't get it for me, I'm going to order it from always-reliable Wal-Mart.

Well, they got it for me! And BTW, on Amazon US, Paradiso is up at #59 in the classical charts and has spent exactly 200 days in the top 100. -Best from Bama

Paradiso is doing very well on Amazon US at present. It is up to #25 under classical which is the highest that I have seen it there since the first of the year

Paradiso at #25 on Amazon US is apparently an error. Too good to be true. It is now listed under classical music in 2 places, at #42 and #25. #42 is more in the neighborhood of where it has been showing.

Well, at least 42 is better than 59, like the last time.
