Hello everybody HAPPY 2006!!! So what do you suppose the new year will bring? I hope that my CD will be a hit...lol....with family, friends and supporters....that is my hope. There is so much that could happen in this new year...we all know quite a few up and coming singers...who do you suppose will strike a record deal this year? lol.... (Not me...not until I get my diaphram stronger and my high notes better...hahhaha)~ But there are so many up and coming singers...up and coming sopranos...lol! What do you guys think the new year will bring for independent singers? Happy new year- Kristyn

Ooh, Kristyn, it's far too early to tell,, and anything can happen. I do think things will finally take off for Holly and I do think Claire and Pzazz will do at least reasonably well in Ireland with their upcoming CD, maybe in the UK also, I can't speak to what will follow. I know I for one will be wanting copies of both the Pzazz CD and your CD, and well, there is more assistance i can possibly offer those on the East Coast, more on that later. Exciting times to come!

Hello Kristyn! I think 2006 could be a very good year for young singers, especially you, Holly Holyoake, and Crystal and Natasha Poholka. You have a much stronger voice than you give yourself credit for, so if your CD does well it could open many more doors for you! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifPzazz are another very bright prospect for this year, thanks to their tour with the Celtic Tenors. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI'm sure Hayley will go from strength to strength, with her forthcoming world tour with Il Divo. She will be noticed in places where she isn't well known yet! Happy New Year to you and everybody! Richard

I agree with Richard, Kristyn, you have come a VERY long way from your Sweet Freedom days and not that much time has passed. You shouldn't be afraid to take risks, though they should always be calculated ones, it is better to attempt and achieve, though you may be checkered by failure. But you and your voice teacher know best.
All I do know is that this year has certainly given me a lot of faith in you and your gift, and I'd like to hear more of this gift. Your version of "You Raise Me Up" is going to be great, I'm sure.

Hiya Kristyn, I really love 'You Raise Me Up' so your version is VERY eagerly awaited. Good luck for all you do throughout 2006 and may all your achievments be BIG ones! Roger

There’s so many fabulous singers out right now! The most exciting artists that evolved in the last year have to be Nicola and Becki, who just have the most gorgeous voices, and sing together in such perfect harmony. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifTheir version of “Flower Duet” is the most beautiful I’ve ever heard, and when you think that they’ve only been singing for such a short time and their already challenging (and conquering) a piece this technically and vocally difficult, is quite astounding. And there’s no sign whatsoever of strain in their voices… I really believe this will be big year for them Hayley, Holly, and hopefully Stefanie, Yulia, Becky, Claire, Taylor and Kristyn as well! Best wishes to everyone of them, you all are wonderful young ladies with incredible talents, and I’m so proud to be able to call myself a fan of yours - and I can’t wait to see your dreams take wing! Love and hugs, Natasha
