And Here We Have It Folks! More Pics. On My website. www.kristynmurphy.com !!! Kristyn Orrington Teen Claims Princess Title Kristyn Murphy represents Central Maine as 2005 Egg Festival Princess When 15-year-old Kristyn Murphy of Orrington signed up to be in the Central Maine Egg Festival Scholarship Pageant she did not expect to be crowned a princess. “I signed up for the pure fun of it,” Murphy said, “I saw there was a talent portion to the pageant and since I love to sing thought, ‘Hey why not?’” Murphy obviously does like to sing, for her performance of “I Could Have Danced All Night” from My Fair Lady left not only audiences impressed but also a panel of judges. Murphy claimed the first place talent trophy and a cash prize to add to her unexpected Princess sash, crown, cash prize, and trophy. “This is the first pageant I have ever been involved in,” Murphy said, I have had a grand time and have met so many wonderful people.” The Central Maine Egg Festival Scholarship Pageant, held July 21st 2005, featured 43 girls ages 8-18. The girls were mostly from Newport and Pittsfield areas however, sisters Lindsay and Courtney McNally of Bangor joined Murphy to represent the Greater Bangor area in the scholarship pageant. The pageant divisions were separated by grades, Little Miss, grades 2-5, Princess Petite, 6-8, Princess 9 & 10 and Queen 11th to freshman year in college. Other winners included Taylor Lovely crowned Little Miss; Cassidy Foster, Princess Petite and Janelle Vigue, Queen. “I feel quite honored and excited to be able to represent Central Maine in this way. I never thought that I would actually win, however, now I know that there is a lot more to a pageant than pretty gowns and fancy hair styles,” said Murphy. Murphy and the other winners were able to enjoy a weekend of fun at the 33rd Egg Festival and were able to have their go at waving from a convertible in the annual parade. Next years pageant will bring more excitement to Murphy and Vigue for they will be the ones to crown the 2006 Princess and Queen.

Congratulations Princess Kristyn! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI found the new pictures in the News section of your web site, and I can see you had a great time. It must be a dream come true for you, and when you've calmed down a bit you can put another note in your Diary section! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI had a dream come true last night. I dreamt I was eating a huge marshmallow, and when I woke up this morning the pillow had disappeared! I'm afraid the jokes won't get any better, even though you're a princess! Lots of love and congratulations again, Richard (I've never kissed a princess before!)
