The Cottars are to split up

Hmm. My biggest question is, how do they actually sound? Because with new people but an old band, I hope they don't just do carbon copies of old Cottars stuff. It's just cheap. And I hope the partnership is as equal as when the Cottars first started out.

Hi Portia,

From what I've heard...they sounded terrific. I'm sure that Claire (who has replaced Rosie) is an exceptional musician. She may not be able to do triple stops (bowing three notes at once) on the fiddle like Rosie.

I'm sure that when the group perform at more festivals that a clearer picture will develop.

Wait, if a replacement fiddler isn't of Rosie's caliber or very very close to it, The Cottars now are going to suffer lots of comparisons with old Cottars.
