Thanks Grant - yes, the external flash has a much better range than the one in the camera and it forces a fast shutter speed which cuts down the blur which in Fiona's case is great as she won't stand still. The following two pictures show that on the rare occasions she is still.......Her violin isnt!!!!! Stuart

Having sent a selection of photographs to Fiona, I received an email from her a few minutes ago. She promises to take a look at them when she returns to London. She is still on the road at the moment and has a concert with Libera tonight.
