Thanks to you Mortyman, and to Ungdomsavisa, for those excellent pictures of Katherine - they are REALLY good! PS I fixed the width of the top 4 images that were too wide for the forum (750 pixels width is about the maximum it can take without getting messy). Cheers, Dave

Very nice pics Mortyman! Katherine looked stunning in that dress, she sure stood out from the rest According to tv schedule, the show is only 1 hour long, looks like it'll be edited. Hopefully they'll show her 2 performances. Allen

How sad 1 hour is a sloughter of the show.................. It's originally 2 hours and 40 minutes..................... I'm guessing they will only show The Sugababes, Duran Duran, Katherine and Katie Melua, then..........Only UK artists..................

Unfortunately, they edited out Katherine's part from the broadcast in Canada. The edited version only includes performances from Duran Duran, Bon Jovi, Damien Rice, Juanes, Westlife and Gladys Knight.
Katherine did appear for the "Give Peace a Chance" finale however and she looked awesome, her dress really stood out from the crowd!
Not sure whether each country has a different edit of the concert or the same one is used internationally. Hopefully the unedited version will be shown on another station.

So, no Norwegian artists shown in Canada then..............................
It's a Norwegian show and it does'nt shown our musicians............................. So sad...........................
But it's because it's an American company that sends it out in the world...................They're very commercial thinking..................

I guess we are lucky they even bothered to show a couple of UK or Irish artists. No wonder it's so hard for foreigners to break into the North American market, it does seem to be very insular, I wonder why? Dave

Hmmm, I just poste a link to the Andrea Bocelli download page, which (thanks to Allen), features Andrea Bocelli at the 2004 Oslo Peace Prize concert. At that rate, we have a year still before getting hold of Katherine coverage at the 2005 concert ... Gerrit

At that rate, we have a year still before getting hold of Katherine coverage at the 2005 concert ... From the look of things, that's somewhat unlikely The 2004 concert was supposed to feature Celine Dion and Diana Krall (both Canadian) and the broadcast had both performances edited out. Something's not right! Last year, the nobel peace concert was on E! Entertainment in US as a full 2 hours show. Not sure whether the 2005 one will be shown. www.eonline.com/On/Special/Nobel/Let's hope the unedited version will be shown in the near future. Allen
