Hi all I was going to surprise you with this news...but why wait?? I had the idea of having 'Celtic Treasure' reviewed by Celtic Heritage Magazine. This is a well-known bimonthly publication from Canada and is distributed worldwide. Each issue contains Celtic-genre CD reviews from a man called John Ferguson. I've been in contact with the editor of Celtic Heritage for several weeks now. The editor has communicated my wish of having Hayley's CD reviewed directly to Mr Ferguson. He does require the complete CD and liner notes are a must; promos and samples aren't allowed. He will let me know the submission details later today. I will also prepare for Mr Ferguson a brief summation of Hayley's career to date; but I'll refrain from mentioning my association with HWI. I don't want to appear too biased I think that if and when the review is published, it may appear in the July/August issue and soon afterwards on their website. Here's a sample of Mr Ferguson's reviews of other CD's: www.celticheritage.ns.ca/issues/nov06/1.htm

Joe:
This is excellent – congratulations on the idea and on your perserverence. As a new U.S. member of this forum, the promotion of Hayley in the States is of great interest to me. I’m sure this is something you’ve all been through before, and I hope there are opportunities in the future to bang heads together and come up with some additional ideas. Well done.

I just got back from Circuit City and they were playing Shenandoah in their listening booth for their speakers and audio systems, but they had absolutely no mention of who sang it or where it came from. I don't know if it was just some employee that put it on or what.

Hi all,
Looks like I've got the green light to have Hayley's CD Celtic Treasure reviewed by John Ferguson, music reviewer of Celtic Heritage Magazine.
The magazine's editor has provided me with Mr Ferguson's home address. I'll will mail to him my Celtic Treasure CD...too bad, as I just bought it on Tuesday! I don't care if he doesn't send it back...I've got a few reserve copies!
As my local post office is closed due a leaky roof from the snow melting, I'll have to go elsewhere to post the CD.
Cheers all, Joe

Hi all... I was watching the Weather Channel around 4 o'clock this afternoon, and a commercial for 'Celtic Treasure' was shown ! It showed clips of Hayley in a recording studio and from the CW:ANJ performance. The advert also highlighed Hayley touring with Celtic Woman. The poster from the Borders store display was shown along with the release date "available this Tuesday", followed by the borders logo. Believe me, that was the best thirty seconds on TV I've seen in a long time !

Joe, thanks for your efforts on promoting Hayley's CD. I'm 100% certain Mr. Ferguson will to adore it. It's awesome to hear that there are commercials for "Celtic Treasure" as well. Looks like they're doing everything they can to promote Hayley! OK - maybe not everything, but at least something. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

Well done Joe! I hope we see a review soon! Today, my favourite radio station (a French classical/jazz station called Couleur FM) played two songs from A New Journey (one by Lisa and one by Chloe). The announcer talked about the album and mentioned that Hayley was the newest member of the group and that she had released a CD earlier that week. I think he said he'd be playing her music next week, but as I'm not a French-speaker, I'm not sure. I'll keep my ears open, though! Oksy
