Thanks Grant.
The nightmare is over. I can't wait for the album.
Ok, I’m not a big fan of folk songs and the only conclusion I can come to is that I obviously wasn’t listening, I’m not sure what happened to be honest. I suppose you can put somebody too high on a pedestal, and at any sign that something’s not quite right it can throw you off track a bit, so its best not to get too carried away and to keep the enthusiasm down a little.
I'm still a little confused to why I thought Hayley's voice was 'winey'. It doesn't make any sense, because it actually sounds better than on 'Pure'.
I caught a bit of ‘Abide With Me’ at the end of the video. I’m not overly religious but it feels like God has asked Hayley to sing that song personally because she was the best lady for the job.
On any of the songs she sings, her voice is like a landscape of colourful gardens with the sun smiling upon them. Each song an adventure. That’s how her voice makes me feel.

Hi Jon I think that you have hit the nail on the head yourself - I think the build-up to the release of Treasure, all the speculation about what songs would be listed, the fact that understandably, everyone who posted has been saying how excited they are etc., has added to your expectations. The next thing you know, we are hearing samples of the songs and I think perhaps you panicked initially, because somehow, it was not what you expected Of course, I may be wrong Anyway, the main thing now is that you have had time to listen again, re-think and seem happy. I am sure that once we all have our copies and can listen to them on a full sound system (rather than on-line) the true magic of this album will hit us all and it will soon claim its rightful place along with Pure & Odyssey. Best regards Mark

I think its because I get a bit to excited when its comes to Hayley, Mark. The songs are the type that don't hit you straight away and thats what I've been used to with previous albums. Hayley is completely different to everybody else, so the thought of an album I didn't like seems devastating (A bit over the top I know but thats me). However its not a case of having to re-think after listening again, because I heard something different straight away. And I want to hear samples of all the songs now.

This is the Jon we all know and love, Quote Jon:
"I caught a bit of ‘Abide With Me’ at the end of the video. I’m not overly religious but it feels like God has asked Hayley to sing that song personally because she was the best lady for the job." Unquote Jon.
Reply from comet, I've been listening repeatedly to One fine day on the promo for treasure, If you close your eyes, it's like being an eagle it soars to great heights, it glides majestically on the lightest breeze, It plummets to depths previously unknown for Hayley's voice.
It is a truly magical and spiritual experience. comet

There's been a small update on the official website. It now features a "Latest News" section.
Currently it says: "On 26th Feb at 12pm Hayley will be signing copies of her new album at ASDA Cardiff, Longwood Drive, Cardiff, CF14 7EW".

That's always been the official site's problem, their news is later than ours! Perhaps it is HWI that has spurred them on! Peter S.

Well done, Meagan. You are good at finding these things before the rest of us! According to the official site, 'Celtic Treasure' will be released not only in America but also in Australia and new Zealand! Meanwhile, 'Treasure' is described as UK and International. hw.com/Music&VideoRoger

I can't see any sound clips on the website. Also the website has not changed if you view it on firefox. I'm sure they will fix that though.
