I think this is my favorite song of Hayley's, ever. It's ridiculously beautiful.

Hi Bella and Dori,
Although I couldn't really define "ridiculously beautiful", I feel it describes this track rather well. From what has been said on this forum, it doesn't seem to be the most popular track among our members, but I have to say it is one of my personal favourites. It happened to be the first track from Treasure that I ever heard and I immediately became very excitied at the prospect of its release.

Roger Hi Roger, 'Whispering Hope' is a strong favourite of mine from 'Treasure' too... I get the same feelings when listening to this piece as I do with 'Down To The River'... I really love the gospel music sound! I would be delighted to witness Hayley singing this piece live with the accompaniment of a gospel choir- perhaps Elim Gospel Choir? (like on Hayley's performance of 'Down To The River' on the 'Live from NZ' DVD). If you ever really want to get me talking- just mention 'Whispering Hope'... i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI want to SHOUT about it!!! Andrew

Hello Bella and everybody! 'Whispering Hope' is one of my favourite songs too. I first heard it sung as a duet by the Irish singers Daniel O'Donnell and Mary Duff, but I prefer Hayley's version with the choir as accompaniment. Best Wishes, Richard

Dori I suppose what I mean to say, is that this song is at such a high level of prettiness, it's almost unreal. This song and "Down to the River" are songs one wouldn't expect her to sing, but I think she carries it off very well. There's something in her voice that beautifully captures the nuances of folk and traditional songs. As much as I love her classical material as well, there really is a difference there!
