Treasure - Album Covers/discussion

Hi Katie,

Thanks for that link, I had seen the Amazon photo which is the same size as the Woolworths photo I posted at the start of this thread but I didn't realise it's the highest quality one yet! Amazon have used less compression than Woolworths (the file is bigger) so it is clearer and now, I've added a link to it in my original post.

A print of this photo would make an excellent home-made cover for a Treasure CD burned at home, should anyone be thinking of buying the download album.

That map also lends itself to the cover of "Hayley Westenra" whose pose is strongly echoed in "Treasure".

I get a similar feeling from that picture, Peter, but having met Hayley I know she's much more dynamic and vibrant than this tranquil pose lets on. What I think they magically captured here is her mid-song seriousness, that profound expression of empathy, soul and warmth that emanates from her aura, rarely observed off-stage where she's unfailingly bubbly.

The transposition of New Zealand against Hayley's face is quite something.

I also love the comparison of the two album covers, I had already thought that there was a likeness, but hadn't thought to do the comparison. How she has matured.

After looking at the more than likely cover of Treasure the one of mainly Hayley's face,
and the 5 track cover,
I (can i say it )like the front and back covers of the promo better,
Wheres Hayley going to sign
She can only squeeze it in near her hair or put the writing on the wall.

I mentioned to Hayley and Kathryn (of Bedlam Management) that the cover should allow a reasonable space for signing and they said they had been discussing that very issue that day. Maybe she will have to sign the wall. Whaaaat? Hayley a graffiti artist? Surely not!

wow- the picture is wonderful!! I read in an earlier post that there is going to be too different covers for the UK version and the international version? The international version is going to show hayley in a red dress? I wondering if anyone had that picture to post so we could see it? Has it been posted already?- Maybe I just missed it in another post somewhere on the forum.
