Well done, Jeroen!
I guess the time has come to admit that I was told the name of the new album several weeks ago but did not have clearance to announce it. That is still the case. Dave found the page at Crotchet last week which caused me to ask Bedlam Management for their consent to reveal the details. Unfortunately, no reply has been forthcoming. Until such times as I receive clearance, I will not be highlighting its title by changing the name of this board. Meanwhile, it is obviously impossible for us to withhold further information which is available elsewhere.
The full tracklisting is not known other than the five tracks that appear on the promo CD but we still expect the release date to be 26th February.
I will relay any further information as soon as I receive it.
Roger

... Until such times as I receive clearance, I will not be highlighting its title by changing the name of this board... Roger, I wish to thank you for maintaining a delightful secret! They picked a superb name for Hayley's next album and nobody came close to guessing it. I loved the suspense. And now that the proverbial feline is out of the proverbial sack, may "Treasure" gain an unstoppable momentum and become Hayley's calling card.

I see you are still on, Roger, although you might simply be concentrating on other windows so i will paste in the following confident you can quickly delete if it is too uncomfortable.
I was just closing everything down when I noticed by sheer chance the home page of Virgin Digital had the following advance news on it!
Item No. 18 Add to Wish List Write a Review CATALOGUE NR: 4758518 RECORD LABEL: Universal Classics FORMAT: CD PRICE: £ 10.99 including VAT, or £ 9.35 excluding VAT RELEASE DATE: 26-Feb-2007
TITLE: Treasure ARTISTS: Hayley Westenra
Currently scheduled to be available 26-Feb-2007. Order now and we will ship as soon as possible after that date The picture (as already published) hasn't copied and pasted. One point that occurred to me, bearing in mind we have a very diminutive version, there has certain similarities to one of Kathryn Jenkins covers--the red dress and the pose.
For me, what that cover seems to say is: 'this is a matured, grown up young woman'. To me it seems to make the statement, this is no longer a teenager. i think that is right. In but a few weeks, she won't be.

Hi Folks, How do we best effect the chart position of the new release.
Should we all buy from the same source in the same week to actively effect the chart position.
Should we buy let's say six copies each and keep them as next years Christmas presents for friends and relatives.
I notice the quoted price is quite low compared with average high street prices.
Maybe we could orchestrate a buying campaign to make the release chart high.
Anyone know the best way to do this ?

Hi Everyone, Now we know Its called Treasure i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifIt would have been better announced than stumbled upon. Next issue is how much less Treasure we will get in NZ ,than the UK. And an official release date for NZ Belinda

It would have been better announced than stumbled upon. Belinda I couldn't agree more but, unfortunately, my hands were tied. Strictly speaking, they still are because I still haven't had clearance to release any details. Roger

Hello everyone and well detected... but what kept you? The Crotchet entry has been on their website since last Wednesday night and has been searchable in Google from Saturday by typing in "Hayley Westenra 26 February 2007" or "Hayley Westenra 26 Feb 2007" i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBelinda, I wanted to give you another clue which would have been "good luck in your search for the buried treasure" or similar but quite rightly, I had my wrist slapped! Incidentally, one of the key words I used in my original post about this was the word "teaser" which sounds a bit like like "Treasure" - and all the letters of which are contained within the name "Treasure". One reason we didn't want to say more is that Hayley told us in Swansea there been considerable debate about which name to choose and of course, one incorrect name had already got out onto the Internet: Eternal. So there was (and still is) a slight possibility that Treasure is also incorrect... though personally I'd now bet quite a lot of money on it being the final name. But I think Treasure is a great album title and it fits perfectly the theme in many online articles that Hayley is (as we all know!) a NZ National Treasure! Now all we need is the full track listing and some samples! Cheers, Dave

Hi All... Well Hayley has certainly kept us in suspense! Until the official word is out I'm saying nothing other than... well done to those who have crossed the 'Amazon' in search for hidden treasure! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI think 'Treasure' is a fantastic title for Hayley's new album, if that's the one to be! Regards, Andrew

Hello folks! What a great title! This is going to be the best 'Treasure' since they discovered Tutankhamun's tomb. In fact I'm sure it will be even better, and I'll be buying my copy in HMV the day it's released! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifHere's a little challenge for everybody. Whoever is first to find the full tracklisting can have the honour of posting it on the Forum. I know that's not really a prize, but think of the prestige! The race is on! Best Wishes, Richard
