Yes Oksy, I'd say you're right about the treasure chest. I enlarged this one as much as I could & it lends itself to a bit more close inspection. She's seated on a treasure chest, (not a pirated one of course), & she's holding her mike. In the background is her music on a piano. Graemek PS. I can't imagine there not being dozens of these lying around Deccas or Universals foto archive until the final decision is made.

Hi Jon,
That is an interesting tracklisting and it is pleasing to see 15 tracks. Where did the information come from?
Roger

Ah, thanks Jon. When I looked yesterday, they didn't have the tracklisting. It must have been added this morning. Well, to qualify for the classical charts, we need 60% of the tracks to be by recognised classical composers and to have a classical arrangement. That means we are looking for 9. There are several tracks that are unfamiliar to me and so I cannot be sure but, at the moment, I can't see more than about five or six! Dave, what do you think? Roger

Wow there's a lot of potential in that word. I don't know how to put the fancy touches in, but ... This Recording Elevates, Amazes, Surprises, Uplifts, Refreshes, Entrances.
I trust I have not presuimed, Mariannek. Please don't ask me how I did it. It would take longer than simply doing it! Peter S

Hi guys, Thanks for the track listing Jon, Richard.everyone who's been posting the links, which eventually came good. Oh, Happy Birthday too, Jon! Back on topic Roger I'll have to investigate these songs but if past form is anything to go by (including the other major Artists that Steve Abbott manages) the "traditional" songs among them will all have "traditional" classical arrangements and instrumentation... in which case they normally would count towards the 60% requirement for the UK classical charts. I'll have a closer look at them all later today when i have some spare time. But if there aren't *quite* enough 'classical' tracks, all is not necessarily lost (from the classical point of view) because it's total playing time that counts... one long classical song could be enough to do the job. I've never heard of some of those tracks so it may be hard for us to work it out this time. We shall see! Cheers, Dave

Hi Peter, As I explained earlier in this thread HERE, the new sub-board will only be created when we have clearance to officially confirm the details of the new album. There seems little doubt that it will be called Treasure but, based on what Hayley's manager has told me, there is still an embargo on any further information being released. Roger From which we might reasonably conclude that someone has indeed jumped the gun, causing an avalanche response out of self-protection and to counter unfair advantage created by 'breaking the rules'? Okay, Peter. If you think interest has exploded already, imagine what it will do when the album is released! Roger Let's hope it does, across all boards! We want her Number 1 from DAY ONE! Peter S.

Hi Roger, At a quick glance, I see a possible 9 or 10 "classical" tracks on there but it could as you say be a few less... if it's 8 or 9 we may indeed need to get out your new stopwatch! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifCheers, Dave

Hmm...that does seem to be the more popular cover. I've just found the same one on three other sites. Here is a slightly better quality pic from www.virginmegastores.co.uk/invt/761328Even though this is a great pic, personally, I think the first cover we saw suited the title and theme more. I don't know, now I have seen a better `reproduction of it and I originally made the same comment as you. I did comment that I thought the earlier copy reminiscent of a Katherine Jenkins cover: red dress and pose and thought it might have been deliberate. It is also a pose that shows the more maturing woman. However, now I have seen a better rendition of this one, this picture promotes maturity with thoughtfulness, whereas the red dress implied a flightiness. It calls to my mind the 60s and reminds me of poses of Judy Collins and, surprisingly, the new release of Catherine Howe. This is an emotionally responsive girl, a thinking girl, a caring and emotive girl. A girl who is thinking of her life ahead and which path to take. Now how's that for a subjective response to a picture!? Peter S.

Hi Dave,
Yes, with the traditional songs, it may well be 8 or 9. But with several unfamiliar titles, it is hard to tell without considerable research.
We then have the question of what constitutes traditional? Does it mean the song must be written by that most prolific of writers who goes by the name of Trad? Or does the song marely have to be above a certain age... like the musical equivalent of an antique?

Hayley singing Danny Boy! It not a song that comes to mind for Hayley, but she going to sing it beautifully isn't she?
