That dog is so noisy, though, you can't hear the singing! He is the cuter of the 2, though.

Here's a very funny clip from the Graham Norton Show, featuring Katherine Jenkins and Basil: Richard

Has Hayley been reading this thread? The video is the one of Ben the dog singing to Pie Jesu.(Above) Not likely in this case, Jim. She apparently did read my tweet to her last night. I tweeted the one of Hamlet, which she retweeted, if you notice below the dog whisperer post, though her retweets are always overlooked by the HWIers (except me), especially when the tweet was by me. So I have no doubt that the video of Ben was discovered because of my tweet. Most likely it came up in the related videos after the video ended. I also tweeted the one of Ben a week or 2 ago, but that was long enough ago that she may not have seen that.

Hi Libby,
It seems that it depends how you view the tweets. Only when I view Hayley's twitter page does it show as a retweet. I usually view tweets by looking at the page that shows people I follow (both your and Hayley's tweets appear on there) and by searching for "hayleywestenra".(both your and Hayley's tweets appear on these but the only retweets are of people I do not follow.)

Oh! Well, I only enter Twitter via Hayley's page! I have it in Favorites, and it's literally the first thing I do every time I open firefox, unless I have something else more pressing to do first (which isn't very often). I don't even log in unless I feel like replying or retweeting something she says, and so often I do it through the official forum's twitter login instead of LibbyWA as I used to.

Hi Taylor, Looks like Microsoft may have pulled the plug on the original plugin we used in the early 'wmv' days of the website. That one is a 320 x 240 edit of a rough quality VHS portable taken by Belinda and the sound track contains several sections of severe interference (it may be wind noise so very hard to do much about). So back in the day, Simon and Gerrit cut out the worst sections and uploaded a 2m 11s version of the original video that lasted 3m 24s, which I also have. It looks like I added some enhancement to it at some later date, too. What I may do is go back to the original to try and produce an improved longer version, then upload it to where I'm not yet sure but I'll have a think about that. It won't be easy but if nothing seems to have happened within the next two weeks, please remind me! Cheers, Dave

Hello Taylor and Dave! The video played for me after I clicked on the link to activate the outdated plugin. Perhaps you didn't get that option in the wmv player. Richard

Hi Richard,
That's interesting, I don't see any link to update, in any of my browsers. Perhaps the increased browser security in recent years has caused the problem on certain computers as I could certainly play it a few years ago.
Anyway, if I do manage to add back more of the original recording, I am sure that you'll notice the difference, some rather nice bits of it have never been published before due to the periodic severe interference on sound.
Cheers, Dave

Hello Dave! I've tried the video again this morning. In Firefox, the link in the player box actually says "Activate Windows Media Player Dynamic Link Library". I have no idea what that means, but clicking on it works for me, so I suspect the link only appears on older computers. Richard

Hi Taylor,
Well I've done it but what I thought was the original full-length version (with severe interference in places) seems to have been a copy of a copy and has a lot of tape hiss on it. I've removed as much as I can and done some other stuff to it but the quality is lower than the shortened version. Joe and Richard think it's OK but I can't make up my mind which to publish. I think I'll have to publish both, so you can take your pick!
This week.
Cheers, Dave
