Hi Taylor, In YouTube. Bic Runga - Something Good. That was a security person reaching out to remove the camera at the end of Mummers dance, It was the lack of quality on those videos that made me buy a new camera

At least he didn't wipe the camera's contents and it lived to be posted. Is that on Dave's private website? Like you Taylor I couldn't make much sense of the first song.
It is of course from the legendary Shepherd's Bush concert.

Thanks for the help! It makes much more sense reading the lyrics and listening to the video. Next time Hayley does a Union Chapel-type concert (which I certainly hope she does!), and she asks for requests on Twitter, I'm definitely going to ask for "I Hope I Never" and "Something Good". They deserve a second time 'round, with some video to do them justice. Also, I was going to ask permission from you Paul if you would allow me to upload this video to YouTube; I already have an HD, slightly enhanced quality video rendering now (but I didn't touch the audio so as not to risk deterioration). I feel like this humble piece of Hayley History needs to be shared with the world! :rollin -Taylor

I never cared for I Hope I Never. Her vocals are stunning, of course, but the song is so negative. That's not the type of song Hayley usually sings, which put me off from it back then, and still makes me hope she leaves it out of her next album, at least. If you notice, most of the "newer" songs Hayley has added to her setlists recently are mostly positive and uplifting. No downers like that one. That tends to make one think that's the sort of route she might take in her future album(s).

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one, Libby. It is a negative song, yes, but I like it all the same. Hayley's vocals are stunning, as you rightly mentioned, and the lyrics have depth and feeling to them, and are quite relatable for some people. And a song doesn't have to be happy to be great and enjoyable, take "Sonny" for example, and happy all the time gets old to me after a while, so I feel it would add some spice and contrast to her normal set list. But I guess it all just boils down to personal preference. At the end of the day, we like what we like, and vice versa. That is the way of things, and so I respect your opinion. But, all the same, I'm still going to ask for it next time round. -Taylor

Hi Taylor,
You are more than welcome to re-post the videos,
Something Good and I hope I never are really great, I have grown very fond of those two songs. I have had them on a memory key in whatever car I have had since the Shepherd's Bush Concert. I used the sound from Drew's videos which had better sound quality.
I never had the heart to delete the original sd cards used that night, had to use a new card every 12 minutes or so, the biggest cards I had at the time were only 2gb.

Hello folks! I was unable to watch the video in Firefox because of problems with the VLC plugin, but it played perfectly in Internet Explorer. Richard

Well, Hayley does do the odd negative song Libby. I Dreamed a Dream for example. But for the most part her songs are positive and uplifting, and that is one of the things I love about her. It reflects her never say die attitude to life.

At least he didn't wipe the camera's contents and it lived to be posted. Is that on Dave's private website? Hi Martin D, Yes it is, and I had forgotten how and why it ended up there. I think it's what I used to do before I had full access to the main HWI website, so anything you find there is probably already posted in one of the old forum threads on here. I don't usually upload *to the main website or our Youtube* videos that are of poor technical quality, which I think all are agreed that many (not all!) audience videos almost inevitably are, I seem to recall that Hayley or her management expressed some concerns about that way back in the past so I need to stick to it. I don't think *everything* Hayley ever did should be made available to the public, whatever the quality, but I can understand that we would all draw the line on this in different places. Hopefully we all do have a line though, somewhere! Cheers, Dave

I agree Dave. I have several videos that have never and will never make it to the public domain, for exactly that reason. Pity, because some are good performances (but poor quality videos).

A few of the more marginal ones are tucked out of the way on my Mediafire account. But some of the others are incomplete, ie only part of the song, or spoiled by people moving in front of the camera so i gave up filming, and so on.
