Hello Everyone
I don't think this has actually been mentioned before, but I was asked yesterday. "Is there any of sheet music of individual Hayley songs?
I have been asked this question by a lady at church (actually the lady that sang "Mary Did You Know" at our carol service at Christmas) I suspect I know the answer and I have already told Diane about the 'Pure' and 'Odyssey' music books.
If anyone knows of the existence of individual sheet music, I would love to hear from you.
Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, Sheet music books for Pure and Odyssey were released in the UK (and probably still available) if you check out amazon UK you will find them, they are both listed on this pageOh I should have read your question fully, I've never heard of individual sheet music for Hayley. Cheers, Dave

Grant/Dave, Check out musicroom.com for download versions of individual Hayley songs, though I think the source of the downloads is probably the same as the commercially available songbooks Dave has already mentioned. For her other songs, such as those off Treasure, I'm afraid you'll just have to rely on picking the tune out with your ears! Long term, that's probably more rewarding and the approach we know Hayley's grandfather took. I'd say that Music Room and Amazon are the best 2 sources of sheet music I've come across, certainly in the UK. James

Oh I should have read your question fully, I've never heard of individual sheet music for Hayley. Thanks anyway Dave! I posted a link to Amazon uk to Diane on Wednesday for the Odyssey book, but the Pure one wasn't there then! Didn't think I'd ever heard anyone mention 'sheet' music, but thought I better ask the question to be on the safe side! Best wishes Grant

Thanks James
I've just had a look at musicroom.com - looks quite useful. Since this thread started, one of the banner adverts was for a site called freemusiclibrary1.co.uk, which also looks good, so we're getting somewhere.
As a matter of interest, musicroom.com has the 'Songbird' songbook which includes Hayley's "Who Painted The Moon Black?"
Nice Avatar by the way  and thanks for the credit!!
Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant I have downloaded a number of individual Hayley songs that I have been attempting to learn to play on the piano. Th sit i use is sheetmusicdirect.com ! Here is the link: www.sheetmusicdirect.com/BrowseResults.aspx?contributor=3628&startrecord=1&store_id=store1They currently list 26 songs from Pure and Odyessy. If you want to download one each song costs you £2.25. You will need to download a file from the site in order to print off the song yourself. I have found them very easy to do. Hope this helps. Best regards Mark

Hi Mark
Thanks for the information. Are the downloads the same as those in the Odyssey and Pure songbooks?

Hi Grant
I'm not sure if they are identical to those in the song books. I dont recall the song "Wishing you were somehow here again" being on either cd - and thats listed on the site.
Best wishes Mark

Hi Mark
You are correct in that "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" is not on either CD but it is included as a bonus song in the 'Pure' songbook.
Interestingly, you mention 26 songs, but I've just counted the songs in both songbooks and the total is 27! My guess is that they are the same songs and they've perhaps only included two of the three versions of "Ave Maria"?
Best wishes Grant

Hi guys, £2.25 a song? That's £58.50 for the 26 songs and still one missing! If I didn't already have the two books and needed the sheet music, I know what I'd do. Dave

Dave Hi Dave You are of course right - but when your piano playing is as rusty as mine, you have to make sure you at least stand a chance of being able to play a song. When I looked through the songbooks, there were only 3 or 4 that I felt able to play. Therefore, I decided it wasnt worth buying the entire book, because i'm never likely to be able to play most of the songs Well - not without an awful lot of painful and very time comsuming practice anyway Best wishes Mark
