Okay, you folks did a superb job answering the first tough question, so here's a new one: Hayley has recorded and released (on CD) more than one version of several of her songs. Which are they?

Hi Steve
One that springs to mind is "She Moves Through The Fair". On the Australia/New Zealand and Japanese releases Finbar Furey accompanies with Uillean Pipes, whilst on the UK and US releases (at least) he uses an Irish whistle.
I prefer the pipes, although you didn't ask for that!
Best wishes Grant

Brilliant, Grant! I hadn't noticed that one! But let's now focus on all the songs in which she has re-recorded the vocals. There are several.

- The Mists of Islay
- Silent Night

And Wuthering Heights too- the 'new version' in the WH Mini Album is my favourite.

'Amazing Grace', if the live version on 'Hayley Westenra' counts, and also 'Mary Did You Know?' Richard

"What You Never Know"; or is it just the same recording with different instruments? The Special UK edition has a slower version, while the American one has a slightly more upbeat version, with a guitar. I think I prefer the slower one, with the lovely violin music (closer to the end).
