My favorite dress: dress numbers 1 thru 12. However, I don't think that this type of vote is permitted in this contest. So I'll limit my favorite dress selection to a total of 1.
Instead of making this selection process simple, I used my questionable scientific background to make it as complicated and as intricate as possible. I have absolutely no idea why. Perhaps I may have too much time on my hands. In making my choice, I used my typical, unhinged logic: when I looked at all of these magnificent dresses, I attempted to place them into two categories and then scientifically select (compute) one overall favorite from these two categories (again, I have no idea why....there really is no logic nor reason to any of this).
The two categories are (1) concert appearance dresses and (2) semi-formal dresses. The latter would be the type of dress that Hayley might wear at a public appearance, at least in my view. Once these two choices were made, I attempted to visualize and calculate a scientific, mathematical average of the two (how's that for a warped sense of engineering logic?). My visual, mathematical, "average" dress became my final choice.
AND NOW, THE ENVELOPE PLEASE.......my selection for the best concert dress is number 10, the beautiful red model (Stephany, you OWE me!). Number 1, the green, is a close second. Both were designed to command the stage, which they indeed do, very effectively.
My choice for Hayley's semi-formal-wear is number 4, the black jeweled model. This, despite the fact that I am not able to see the entire dress. However, what I do see of it is simply wonderful. My second choice is number 3, the simple yet elegant black dress.
AND NOW.....THE FINAL SELECTION (DRUM ROLL).....
An engineering, mathematical average of the two magnificent equations above equals number 7....(10 + 4)/2 = 7. However, since I was never very good at equations, I've rounded off the 7 to number 8.
THEREFORE, the Oscar goes to dress number 8, the blue with lace overlay. It is a blend of both categories above and is perfect whether on stage or at any semi-formal gathering, at least in my opinion.
Besides all of that, Hayley is a pure knockout in this dress!!!

I've always loved this dress and to me something about it stands out against the others of this poll.
Great dresses though!
