I'll start off - Although I dont watch much TV, the only sport I have any interest in is Tennis and in particular, Wimbledon. During one of the many breaks for rain over the past week, the BBC ran a short documentary on Maria Sharapova. Hi Mark, I have to agree on Sharapova. I spent the entire two weeks on Centre Court at Wimbledon last year and bumped into quite a few people, one of them being Sharapova. Some of the players were very focused, but some of them were polite and great to be around. She was one of them, especially to those of us wearing military uniforms for the fortnight. A few years ago, I was involved with a couple of tv shows in the States who had younger people in the casts. Some of them, especially those who had their parents on-set, were very egotistical, but the others whom the parents would see to the set and then leave there under the supervision of the crew, were fine. I was reading something last night that a friend wrote about six years ago now and he was commenting on the whole "celebrity" thing. He said that if he ever woke up and acted like a "celeb", that his girlfriend would always remind him (usually with a short, sharp kick) that he was just a person and that it could all end just like that. It always kept him grounded, and still does. ~C
