My Hayley CD collection is modest and I own no posters and have yet to lay eyes on her book, but I do have bragging rights in one area: the number of people I've turned on to Hayley. At last count it was 25, at least six of whom became new fans.
They are: my friends (10), my family (5), my acquaintances (7) and my neighbors (3).
I've also posted about Hayley on other bulletin boards and maybe that has served to introduce her to a few others.
So, who and how many people have you exposed to Hayley for the first time?

Well, I wore a sign to school on her birthday and told people who she was, but I don't know how many of them went home and looked her up online.

Yep, I remember when you first told me about Hayley in October 2005. Three days later I first listened to a short extract from one of her songs (Pie Jesu, if I remember correctly) and I liked her voice from the very beginning! It must have been about two weeks later, when I first listened to some of her songs in full length (you had a copy of "Hayley Westenra" with you) and then I really became a fan. i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif

My friend wants to know a little more about her music, and I will be giving her "Odyssey" or "Celtic Treasure" album (or maybe both!) to a friend before we graduate. And, I included "May It Be" on a presentation I recently did, so my whole Literature class and teacher knows who she is, I just don't know if they're Hayley fans i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMeldy

Well done, Mr Yang. I'm sure Hayley would be very grateful. Let's hope some of your friends do the same as you have done and tell 20 of their friends, and so on! Roger

Hi all, I would have to say that I've introduced about a dozen friends and a number of relatives to Hayley's music. Hayley has gotten a good response on my forum. Several members have bought Hayley's CD's; one member from France saw Hayley (with Il Divo) at the Palais des Congrès in Paris ! I do have a card with photos of Hayley and her CD covers pinned to my office cubicle. People have stopped to look at them. Last week one of my colleagues asked if she was my girlfriend. Joe

Never counted and could not magine how many. Let's say that I mention Hayley at every opportunity and never cease to be amazed at the number of people who have 'never heard of her!' Well, they have when they've met me! Peter S.

Last week one of my colleagues asked if she was my girlfriend. I had that happen to me on her birthday. I was wearing a little sign around my neck with a few pictures from her Treasure photoshoots and a girl in my Biology class asked me that same question. I just raised my eyebrows and said no, but, looking back, I think I'd like to have slapped my forehead in dismay. I'd never be THAT lucky.

Hi Everyone, I have lost count !!! But guess what happened to me today??? I belong to gather.com ever since the live chat with Hayley last year. There was a competition going about listing 5 songs that gave you courage to live. The newly released Album by Paula Cole called *Courage* was the prize! I listed Vittorio Grigolo, Anna Netrebco and Rolando Villazon, regina spector (if I kiss you better...) and *PRAYER* and *AMAZING GRACE* by Hayley Westenra. You'll never guess...I WON...and the CD is on it's way !!! So thrilled about that, you have no idea !!! ( there were 5 winners chosen, only 2 from gather). How about that Love and smiles, Marianne
