The Superstorm documentary is something that would interest anyone into climate change (I wonder if Hayley watched it?) finding ways to stop hurricanes etc. So I post this here considering Hayley has lent her vocal to 'Flood'. That and the fact that Superstorm could of benefited from Hayley's voice.
The drama itself though.... oh dear...... did anyone see it?
The best I could say is: Its got Tom Sizemore in it!
A few years ago, the BBC did something similar on super volcano's, a docu-drama very much like Superstorm but better: It was quite disturbing because it could actually happen.
The difference between Superstorm and Supervolcano is clear. Supertorm is more character driven than Supervolcano's documentary; Some of the characters have demons to bear.
For some peculiar reason these docu-drama's from the BBC always feature ex-Stargate SG-1 guest stars. In this case a corrupt Senator and an annoying smart-alec computer programmer who has developed an 80% accurate weather prediction system.
Apart from the ever reliable Tom Sizemore, the acting is poor, especially as its trying to be more of a drama than a documentary.
But the Science of Superstorm that follows it is much more interesting.
