Hi Lothar and Roger, I'm sure the subject Calendars has been mentioned many times. In the shop thread i know at HW.com but nobodys seems to want to give us what we want I'm sure we would buy a calendar even though the year has started, but i guess this year is very busy for everyone directly involved with Hayley. But am i right in saying [/size][/move]

Hi Lothar, Actually, that's a very good question. Maybe we should have a quiet word with Steve next time we see him. You never know, he just might put the suggestion forward. Roger Hi Roger We certainly NEED a Hayley calendar!! After seeing all Steve's and Stuart's picture galleries last year I suggested they should produce something - with Hayley's and Steve's blessing of course. If it happens it will probably solve most of my 2007 Christmas present problems!! Grant

Hello again everybody! Here's a suggestion. Could we produce a Hayley calendar for charity, with all proceeds going to UNICEF NZ? Richard

Hello again everybody! Here's a suggestion. Could we produce a Hayley calendar for charity, with all proceeds going to UNICEF NZ? Richard I fancy Richard wants to emulate the Calendar Girls! Seriously, a great idea which I would give my full support. Does anyone know how this could be achieved commercially. I suspect we would need: - copyright approval - design and editing - production quote - marketing and distribution Perhaps someone could ask the WI? Martin

Hi Martin, Yes, we would need all that and more. There are even legal issues to be overcome. We would need a licence to collect money from the public (even if they are members of this forum) on behalf of any charity. It has been looked into before and we quickly came to the conclusion that it is well beyond our capabilities. We simply do not have the resources for such an undertaking. Pity. Roger

Without wishing to go off topic(!), it is of course possible to make a donation to Hayley's UNICEF campaign via the link on the HWI home page. Here is a direct link to the Donations page at UNICEF where you can specify that your donation is for the Bikes for Ghana appeal. Roger

There are some absolute stunners here on the forum which I am sure Hayley and her management would be happy to use. No doubt the relevant photographer would be more than happy to allow free use, I certainly would, as well as being totally privileged to have one of mine included!! Grant

Hi Andrew! What a great calendar! I can't wait for January! But January is almost over! Then I can't wait for an official Hayley calendar to appear. A real useful accessory and what an eye-opener! Thomas

Hi Folks. Andrew, How could a man do a decent days work with pictures like that around to distract from the everyday and the mundane. And the words from Listen to the wind on the air. A kiss in a dream........................................... Nice poetic comment, Comet! Peter S.

Good point, Roger, but I think the original idea, certainly when I first raised the possibiity in response to Andrew's first picture selection, congratulating him on his design is that it further spreads Hayley's reputation and possibly into new quarters arousing further and wider awareness. Certainly that is what I saw as the benefits of the venture. A calendar is in front of everyone the whole year on a daily basis--that is its promotional value.

Hi all, a new Hayley fan here!
A Hayley calender with the proceeds going to her UNICEF project would be sweet! Hopefully somebody with inside knowledge of what needs to happen in order to get this calender from idea to finish product would step in and lend a hand. I think it would be cool if we could get as many pics of Hayley together as possible (like in the "Favourite Hayley Pictures" thread), and vote on them, with the best making it onto the calender. Just some fuel for discussion.

Hi Russ and welcome. I have a personal pleasure in saying 'hi!' to you as I know Boston quite well. A friend of mine worked for many years in the John Hancock, old and new buildings and had an office way up high with a superb view over the river. He actually lives in Plymouth. Perhaps we will meet up when Hayley next does either a Boston pops or Christmas extravaganza, especially if in the Wang centre (about to be renamed I believe, if it hasn't already been). I haven't been in it since it was closed for major refurbishment yonks ago.

Hi Peter, Thanks for the warm welcome! We'll definitely have to meet up some time. The Wang Center has reopened in all its splendor, though it is now named the Citi Wang Theatre (it is now operated by Citigroup). Everybody still calls it the Wang Center though. I've got tix to Celtic Woman at the Wang Center, and hopefully I'll get a sample of that wonderful voice of hers (and the other young ladies as well). I'll be the one in the crowd with the "Hayley Rules" t-shirt and the "Hayley's #1" foam finger (just kidding, I think ) I still use the weather beacon atop the old John Hancock tower to determine what the day will bring. Remember the saying: Steady blue, clear view Flashing blue, clouds due Steady red, rain ahead Flashing red, snow instead! Russ
