Tough one... Does she have anything in classic black? Polka dots is nice, I remember the blue one from her concert here in Ottawa (I think?!, it was so long ago and to be honest I wasn't really paying attention to what she was wearing LOL i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif)... Hi Neal, I'm sure Hayley has more than eight dresses but I don't recall seeing her in classic black. Actually, it is just as well we limited it to eight otherwise you'd be even more undecided!  Roger |

Roger Wasn't it a classic black dress she was wearing in the NZ interview when she heard she'd won her top ten young person's award? I thought it looked like an evening dress. Certainly it attracted my attention as very smart and very interesting but I could not see sufficient of it to assess exactly what it was like but I think it was a first class up market cracker. Possible it was the 'little black number' every girl is supposed to have in her wardrobe to cover any occasion at any time of the day and from general, through party, to evening, weddings and fjunerals? Ideal for a travelling girl like Hayley. Peter S. |

Hello Peter and everybody!  I'm sure I've seen Hayley in a black dress somewhere, but I can't remember if it was at a live concert or on TV. Almost any colour seems to look good on Hayley, but perhaps I don't always take too much notice of her dresses. Best Wishes, Richard  |

No, that doesn't seem to be the one Hayley wears on her DVD. Perhaps someone could get a screenshot of the 'Hine e Hine dress' for us so we can see it in more detail? Hey, yeah, that was the one... LOL I was blown away that night, it was quite the performance... I met her and got her autograph after the show and could barely muster two words together...LOl ( I guess I was in shock)... It was a good show... it really defined her as a mature woman in my eyes... I was impressed... I really look at her differently now because of that show, she's my hero... not in the aspect that she's a goddess but she is someone to aspire to be like, strong (like a shield) I'm still trying to find the courage to stand up alone in front of a crowd... cameras on you, people staring at you... just too much attention for my liking, but some things have to be done in life... (now I'm ranting ) I was watching the New Zealand live DVD... she had a nice black number on in that one... I guess I'd choose that one if I had too... |

Wow, what a great thread this has turned out to be! Hayley certainly has a wonderful sense of style! Plus, she looks great in just about anything. Hayley looks lovely in that black dress she wore on DVD, but brown is also beautiful on her. Two more favourites:   Oksy |
