As long as she doesn't think he is being overly overbearing or pompous! I haven't directed any films but have directed a few stage plays and did the commentary for a short film. Peter S!

...and the other picture could be Peter as the Director! Either that or he is trying to demonstrate a melody without realising that someone took the piano! Roger Or forgetting he can't sing!!! I recall the time at... Shrewsbury? When there was a little gathering around her for a carol. I said to her afterwards that the reason I had not jined in was that i didn 't dare presume to even only mouth the words in her presence. I then told her a little story (which I am sure I have regaled here (in another thread)) about my expereince with the Director of Music at my school. I think she was a little nonplussed! Peter S.

And that reminds me just how expensive Cadogan Hall was for me that night. That hat I'm wearing is my favourite and on the second night at Cadogan i left it on the train! It still hasn't turned up in Lost Property! Anyone seen it?

"Another vote on her dresses soon"? Give the poor girl a chance. She's only just realised she has to buy some more and then we've got to do the rounds to see them all! Peter S

Even though you can't see her face properly, you can see she's captivated by what your saying, Peter.

Now I've seen the dress that Hayley is wearing in the New Zealand article, I've decided it is now my favourite!
Can we have another poll soon please?
(Ducks to avoid low flying missile!)

Hi Grant. In Roger's defence he did say there would be another one in a year's time--perhaps. In the mean time it would appear`we are criticisng each of her new dresses as she wore them which I think would be entirely wrong and not helpful to her. I would guess for the round of concerts needed to promote CD3 she will seek at least a partial new wardrobe. Once we've seen that range then perhaps it might be appropriate to have another poll. In the mean time, i agree with you on the blue one of the three--of which there are arguably two blue ones The first one. The multi-coloured one that looks like a Picasso painting. Absolutely fantastic. She really does have absolutely superb dress sense. She looks wonderful in it. Peter S.

I agree Hayley has superb dress sense - I can't even choose socks!! Grant

Sorry Grant if I misread your humour!
While Roger is quite capable of standing up for myself--and he and I have occasionally privately expressed disagreement--he does so much hard work behind the scenes I just felt I ought to step in to save him being in the invidious position of having to defend himself and negate the suggestion .
Glad we agree on Hayley's dress sense. The poll showed the difficulty people had in choosing one dress from the range . That is a clear indication of the quality of her whole wardrobe it was difficult to choose one and that was only a SELECTION of what she actually has available to her.
Peter S.

Hi Jon, Peter and Grant, I am delighted to know that the dress poll was so popular. I am quite willing to hold another poll in the near future but I would prefer it to be on a different topic. We can come back to the favourite dress idea at some future date and, as Peter suggested, the time of the next CD release may be a good time. So, any suggestions for the poll question would be appreciated. Of course, I don't have to be the one to start a poll. Any member can do it. Roger

Here's a thought... (I've been reading a fact book on Canadian poverty)
How do you classify poverty?
