Hello folks! If I ever appear in one of Hayley's dreams, she'll probably throw me into the river (of dreams)! Richard

"Bad dreams in the night...."
Let's hope we don't inspire those.

Do we appear in Hayley's dreams? What if we're all she dreams about? Would she admit to that? We'll never know, will we? Hi Steve, I think we do appear in her dreams... after all I think I have heard her say in an interview or something that its like she is living a dream! My paraphrase of course Peter

Considering I go on about Hayley a lot, I don’t have that many dreams about her. I have one every so often. The ‘running’ one was the last I had. A couple of the dreams have been similar to yours, Grant. The most lucid one though, was when I found myself in a house, which seemed to be a bungalow. I was in a room with two couches facing each other, sat on one was apparently Hayley’s Nan, and on the other was some other woman she was talking too. There was big window doors, looking like the ones from Hayley’s family home. The doorbell rang and I had to go and answer it. It was Hayley! And next to her a man whose face was all blurred! Weird, I’m not sure who it was meant to be. The first thing Hayley did was shout ‘Hi Gran!’ down the kitchen. (Hayley refers to her as Nan doesn’t she? But I’m sure she shouted Gran.) Then she got a glass of water from the sink (It would have been an even better dream if she had made some tea! ) and sat down on what appeared to be a step. And that was the end of the dream!

Sounds like Hayley was being pretty normal in your dream Jon. Making herself at home, getting a glass of water (quicker than making tea if you're thirsty) and we know Hayley drinks a lot of water. Although, I'm pretty sure she NEVER drinks tap water. As for the man, well it could have been Dad, Gerald or Steve Abbott, maybe even Roger, or Richard, or me, or Martin or ..... now who else on this forum would like to appear with Hayley in a dream? Best wishes Grant

Hi Grant, it was a tall man and thin man whoever it was! I wonder: Is the water in New Zealand a lot cleaner and safe to drink do you think?

A couple of nights ago I was able to have a lucid dream. Because its very rare I have these now, I had to make the most of it so I decided to see if I could find Hayley. I did indeed! She was getting something out of the boot of a car (I've had a few dreams were Hayley has been getting something out of the boot of a car!) She wasn't getting any help! Two people were standing at the other end of the car gabbing and not even lifting a finger! The cars were all parked on a field and I got the impression that it was an outdoor festival or something. Anyway, I went up to Hayley and the first thing I asked her was "Are you going to visit the forum again Hayley?" I didn't say which one but I think she knew I meant this one! She replied "I'll try, if I get time."

Hi everyone Its been more than 12 months since anyone posted on this thread - do you mean to say that no -one has had a dream about Hayley in the last year Anyway, I did have a dream about Hayley last night and very vivid it was too, of the sort that when you wake up it takes you a few moments to realize you have in fact been dreaming. Over the past few evenings I have been re-reading 'In Her Own Voice' and I usually read for a while before settling down to sleep. Anyway, last night I was reading the bit about Hayley being on tour with Celtic Woman. Hayley was describing about living on a tour bus and in hotels and how at one point she became sick with a bad throat and felt very down - almost to the point of wanting to call it off and go home. My dream started outside a concert venue somewhere - after the show. I am sure I was with a group of HWI members, but I can't visualize anyone specifically. We were all chatting to Hayley, as we do and after a while I started to notice that she looked as though she needed to sit down and I could tell she wasn't right in someway. For some reason, I was the only person to recognize this and after a while, people started to leave. Hayley was also on her own for some reason - no Ray, or anyone from Bedlam. I asked if she was alright, to which she replied "no, not really" and continued to say that she was feeling a little dizzy and her throat was really sore. I asked if she would like me to walk her back to her hotel, for which she seemed very grateful. I clearly remember her taking my arm - as she was feeling unsteady. The hotel must have been about 3 miles walk, because we were talking for a long while. She was asking me if I thought her voice was OK at tonights concert, what did I think the rest of the audience thought etc. Most of the conversation seemed to revolve around her seeking reassurance that her fans were still enjoying her music and performances. We eventually arrived at the hotel and for some reason, despite Hayley feeling ill, we sat in the hotel lounge. I ordered some drinks and could see a lady at the next table looking across. Without warning, this lady was saying "excuse me, you're Hayley Westenra aren't you ? Without giving Hayley a chance to answer, I said that it was indeed Hayley, but she wasn't feeling very well and could she please give us a little privacy When the waiter brought the drinks (Hayley had asked for mineral water) her drink was a muddy brown colour I was horrified and told the waiter to bring her another drink but Hayley said " no its ok, I've got some clear fresh water in my bag" On thinking about this bit now, I realize that I was thinking of the bit in the book where she is in Ghana, and she watches the children drinking the muddy water from a waterhole, whilst feeling guilty about having a bottle of fresh water in her bag. It was at this point that I woke up - how disappointing. Perhaps it will continue tonight i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifMark

Hi Mark A very interesting dream (if only I were Freud so I could explain it to you!). It may well be that you, like all of us, always want to look out for Hayley. Unfortunately, I haven't had any night dreams involving Hayley but there have been many "day" dreams, particularly at work. Best wishes Martin
