Hi everyone! I was just wondering, what songs has Hayley sung (in concerts, on TV, etc) that she has not yet recorded on CD? Here are the ones I'm aware of: How Many Stars Down to the River Romanza Lullaby of Broadway Panis Angelicus Chattanooga Choo Choo Any more? Oksy

Hi Oksana and Richard, Hayley sang the duet "Time to Say Goodbye" with Andrea Bocelli on "Gotta Skate V" too And on the Russell Watson Live dvd, she sang "Now Is the Hour" with Russell and Faye Tozer. Allen

Hi Oksy,
Thank you for an interesting question. Here are a few that I have seen Hayley sing live which she has not recorded:
God Save The Queen Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau As Long As I Have Music - All performed with the Massed Choirs in Cardiff on 17 June this year.
Land of Hope and Glory Jerusalem - Both with Tenors Unlimited at Wisley on 8 June this year.
The Little Drummer Boy - with Jose Carreras at the Royal Albert Hall, London on 10 December 2003
O Holy Night - Royal Albert Hall, London on 10 December 2003
Rule Britannia - At Hampton Court in June 2004 and at Wisley in June this year.
White Christmas - Royal Albert Hall, 12 December 2003
Any more folks?
Roger

Hi all! Wow, more than I thought! It's great to see that Hayley has a varied repertoire. Here are two more: S.O.S For the Day Thou Gavest I find it kind of surprising that Hayley never recorded O Holy Night. It would seem natural song choice for her -- "...oh hear the angel voices..." Would there happen to be a video of that performance on HWI? Oksy

Hi Oksy,
Sorry, a video of 'O Holy Night' was never available anywhere as the event was not recorded. I agree though, it would make a good track for a future album.

I wonder as I wander.
I remember she sang that in concert with the Boston Pops in 2004. I'm sure I'll think of more, but for right now that's all I can remember. We've got a great list going so far!

She also sang "The Little Road to Bethehem" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" with the Pops, which, alas, have yet to be committed to CD.

Hello again folks! I've remembered another one from the autumn of 2003. Hayley sang 'No Matter What' with Frank Skinner on TV, and she also sang it at Andrew Lloyd Webber's private concert for the Queen, Tony Blair and George Bush in Regent's Park. Best Wishes, Richard

I think it was at the Remembrance Service in November 2003 when Hayley sang an English setting (not a translation) of "Pokarekare Ana" called "Tonight we'll light a candle". To my knowledge that version has never been recorded.

Hello everybody! The previous post reminded me that Hayley also led the singing of 'The Day Thou Gavest' at the 2003 Festival of Remembrance, or is this the piece Oksy mentioned? Anyway, it can be seen via the same link. Best Wishes, Richard

I believe that during the US leg of the Il Divo tour, Hayley sang From A Distance. I don't mean she was miles away when she sang it! Roger

I believe that during the US leg of the Il Divo tour, Hayley sang From A Distance. Hi Roger, Yes, you are correct. Hayley did include 'From A Distance' in the majority of her performances prior to the Il Divo concerts in the states. Most notably she sang the Bette Midler song in Boston on 2 February, Minneapolis on 18 February (our Caite was in attendance) and Seattle on 22 February. Joe
