Hi Jon , Thats a completely different chat ,that was for open MSN chat rooms and there have not been those for a couple of years now,you would have thought they would put a year on it ,not just Oct. Chat rooms in groups are a completely different thing altogether and working fine.. Belinda

I'm sure you performed a service for Hayley in adding further links to the world interest in her and in some way helped further promote her. Well done for the effort but with Martin's comment effectively asking 'Do we need two sites (official and HWI)?' I think that it is necessary to hone to market/interest/demand sectors. Rivalry is good in that more than one site helps to keep each on their toes and I am sure an answer already given to Martin included the fact that we think here (HWI) that we help to keep Hayley's official site better than it would be on the ball. The German site appears to be lagging re: comments made here about it being late with the cancellation announcement etc and we are international with diverse people able to add little extra detail from their viewpoint of 'being there'. Your style of site (and i hope you will continue to know your NZ travel details site is valued) by providing the 'daily or weekly report' function to people's inbaskets enables them to keep in touch passively whereas Proboards (HWI) requires proactive involvement. Horses for courses. There is value in each type of site. In all that, one of the things I learned very early on was the second part, not so often quoted of the off-quoted adage, 'It is important to know when to stand up and be heard--but it is also important to know when to sit down and shut up. Honing niches, and offering `complementary contributions is the key, with a little rivalry caused by the fact there are alternative options helps to keep the whole gamut bubbly and on the ball. As bubbly and on the ball as the lady we all support and wish to help move ever onward and upward. Peter S.

Hi Peter, Re various Hayley sites. I'll be keeping Hayley Westenra Worldwide going as its my own little space dedicated to Hayley. And keeps me happy. The NZ info site will stay,as I'd like people to visit Christchurch. Thanks for the reminder,I've not put anything in it for a few weeks for one reason or another. Better get my act together and add some more stuff., Hayley Westenra Fansites United keith and i set up to plan a fan gathering for 2005. and i think its time for it to go. My hearts certainly not in keeping it going. Yes it is important to have a few different hayley sites haha as long as they are all linked in some way to HWI . I could not think of a nicer place to have my info and footage stored for all to enjoy,, Belinda NZ
