Sorry, Belinda and everyone. I'm in the lead-in to changing homes--or living between two as my friends prepare for departure to NZ on Sunday and i move in to their home to house-, cat-, dog-, plant-sit. It went completely out of my mind. Sorry.
I hope there was a good turn-out and everyone had a good time.

I know the feeling Steve. Suddenly she's there, all warm and friendly and you have the excuse to place an arm lightly round her, then the moment is over and you never forget it. You also never forget what a shambles your hair is and what a mess you feel you look, especially in comparison with her--see my own avatar and the comment underneath it!!

The most important part of yesterday's chat for me was learning what the word "chuffed" means. We don't have that term in the states so I was lost when they kept going on about how chuffed somebody was. Guess I should watch more PBS.

:2fun: Hi Graeme, Thanks for posting the pic, Yes that was very close to the end of the chat, when Andrew was saying he better get some sleep, It was only Early (2am) in UK  Thats when he started talking about his coffee machine,he said it had some alarm on it , i thought he mean't he had the coffee machine in his bedroom. 2 me's haha yes i saw all the writing twice,did not dare sign out to get rid of one case i could not get back in belinda |

Thanks for another great chat Belinda. Marianne, I can confirm that Jon was there early on, as was Scott & myself. As I couldnt stay too long, I decided to log on early and found Jon & Scott to chat to. I was sorry to miss you Marianne - next time I will make more time and stay on longer ! Oh yes and at one point, there was THREE Belinda's. Oh well, it is the hostess's job to mingle amongst the guests and to be in more than one place at a time !

Hi All, Belinda has put a lot of work into the 'Hayley Westenra Worldwide' Website... Did you notice the "Westenra Rose" desktop wallpaper which Belinda added for the Valentines theme this month in the chatroom? We always have good, clean fun in our discussions in the Chatroom. One never knows when "Big Brother" Graeme is going to "strike" with his camera though  Beware... Andrew  |

Hi Steve, Glad to hear that you're picking up on some new vernacular... The word " chuffed" is definitely colloquial. The word actually appears in the 'Encarta Dictionary' (in English) meaning: "very pleased or satisfied". The word is used in an informal context.
