wow... this is the first time I've run across this thread... since Hayley's mom loves family history I hope someday I get the opportunity to share with her all the stuff that I've come across while doing Hayley's tree...
Hayley is related to some very famous Americans as well believe it or not... (2nd-through 6th cousins, and many times removed of course)... due to the fact that a brother of one of her ancestors came over to Virginia and intermarried with a rather prominent family in Virginia...prior to the civil war...

Two signers of the Declaration of Independence were 3rd cousins actually and a certain rather famous general is a 5th cousin. All the above many times removed of course...since Hayley was born much much later. All from the Virginia connection that I ran across... I won't be naming names though  |
