The mystery of these photos have been solved! Hayley has her arm and foot on something, which could be a hidden ladder. She is going up to adjust the satellite dish on the roof as an excuse to have a nosy in the next door neighbours garden.

Hayley: “For you information, Jon, I was going on the roof to adjust the TV aerial, the Sun was in my eyes so I had to look in the other direction, which just so happened to be the neighbours garden, alright?. The accusations of some people!…. They do have some nice gnomes though!

Tea! I said all along its good for you! Better than water on its own!

It might be harder for Hayley to lug a tea around than a bottle of water, but there she is!....about to drink tea!

Astronomers using a new type of telescope have recently made public the first images, one of which is an important find.

The newly developed Odyssey telescope’s first successful experiment - to look deep across the universe brought back startling results and in good time. A digitally enhanced image appears to show evidence which supports the recently developed theory - that Hayley Westanra drinks tea.

“The image on the right is clearly Hayley.” says Professor Daniel Sonny of the Shenandoah institute of technology. “The smile was the give away, but further analysis shows more consistencies.” he goes on, “We believe the arm on the left of the image is that of a waiter, but the most exciting part is the object at the centre, which is obviously and without any further analysis a cup.” The professor believes the images are in fact from the Restaurant At The End Of The Universe. “We believe that Hayley must of acquired a Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy and made her way there.” The most exciting prospect for the Professor was his theory that Hayley may indeed drink tea. “It is an exciting possibility that what is in that cup is in fact… tea!”. “While there is no definite proof, because there is no visible liquid, it is still a mouth-watering possibility.” He goes on to add: “Another interesting part of the image is the object situated under Hayley. While the general opinion is that it is an umbrella handle , I believe it is a loop of dark matter!”

I tried to capture Hayley's smile in 'Both Sides Now' but the low quality of video made it a bit blurry.

Yep, this is from the 'Tough chick' interview isn't it? I remember seeing Hayley with a mug in the photos and wondered if it was tea. Some must have had another cuppa in a glass by the looks of it.

It certainly looks like a teabag in there, it looks a bit weak though.

Maybe she's just put the teabag in?

No, Jon - but the picture was taken in Auckland the same day.
It's from a different interview and another magazine, Gekkan.
You can see the scans in the following thread : Hayley in 'GekkanNZ' Magazine.
Looks like Hayley had tea the whole day to keep the energy rolling during the interviews.
