Hi Steve, Yes that's a lovely photograph of Hayley. I recognise that one, which was taken on 12th July, 2004 during the Gibson/Baldwin's "Night at the Net" at the 78th annual Mercedes-Benz Cup benefitting MusiCares Foundation at UCLA in Westwood, California. In fact the following picture was taken on the same day: I have a print of this picture, which also measures 8"x10", but I have reduced the size of the picture here. Regards, Andrew Have a look at a larger image of this photograph here: i41.photobucket.com/albums/e263/mistersheen/Hayley_120704.jpg

Hi All, Here are some more great pictures of Hayley. "Detective Mansbridge", look closely at the bracelet Hayley is wearing. I know it's a little difficult to see, but do you think that is the bracelet which 'HWI' presented to Hayley as an 18th Birthday present? (gold bracelet studded with 18 diamonds). Jill says Hayley loves to wear this on "special occasions"!!! Regards, Andrew These pictures were taken at the 'Odyssey' CD signing session on the 27th September 2005, at HMV, 150 Oxford Street, London.

Hi Caite, nice to hear from you! glad you liked the pics.
Thanks for the link Andrew, I was thinking about bidding on this one today on ebay, but now I don't need to. Looks like you do your shopping there too!
Better make sure we don't bid against each other there!!
Thanks again.

Hi Steve, I don't think I bought that picture on eBay. I'm pretty sure a friend who knows photographer Keith Mayhew obtained this one for me! Regards, Andrew

Hi everyone, Andrew, I honestly cannot be sure if that is "our" bracelet or not. Here is the real thing - see what everyone else thinks: It actually has alternate links of gold and white gold. Each white gold floret contains a tiny diamond - 18 in all. The plaque is inscibed with a large "18" and "from HWI 10th April 2005. If she really was wearing it at HMV, how come none of us noticed? There were 7 or 8 of us there. For those of you who don't know the story, a member of Hayley's Yahoo discussion group first suggested that we organise a collection for Hayley's 18th birthday. We received contributions from numerous people around the world (members of the group and forum members) which gave us a total of just under 400 GBP. We had asked Hayley's parents for advice on what she might like. We didn't receive an answer straight away and, as the day when we would see Hayley (at Olympia) drew close, it was decided that the bracelet (as we had chosen) would have to be bought so that there was still time to have the plaque inscribed. Only then did Jill and Gerlad indicate that Hayley wouldn't want us to spend too much on her; she would prefer it to be donated to UNICEF! Therefore, we made up the difference so that 200 GBP was donated. There have been some lovely pictures posted to this thread. Keep them coming folks! Roger

Hi Roger, What a beautiful bracelet that is too! Wow! You really chose the perfect gift to present to Hayley on behalf of 'HWI'. Although at the time I wasn't a 'HWI' member, I was present at the 'Olympia' on March 20th and witnessed the presentation to Hayley from the "boys in royal blue". If my memory serves me correctly it was presented in a very pretty silver hologram gift bag too! I seem to be quite good at remembering details like that, but I can hardly remember what I did 2 days ago! The little presentation plaque fitted to inside of the case lid, really was a lovely thought! I'm pretty sure that you would be the one to remember whether or not Hayley was wearing this special bracelet in HMV, since you are very observant. Regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew,
It is kind of you to mention my powers of observation. Unfortunately, in Hayley's presense, my faculties (including my ability to speak) seem to fly out of the nearest window!

Hi All, Thanks to Roger's kind words of encouragement, I've decided to post up two more beautiful pictures of Hayley I posted a picture of Hayley taken on the day of the Classical Brit Awards 2005, outside the Royal Albert Hall, London (back on page 5 of this Thread). Although Hayley wasn't included on the list of nominations for a Classical Brit Award last year, 'HWI' Manager, Dave was present at the Ceremony and reported back that he really enjoyed attending the event! Here are two more pictures which were taken on the same day. Enjoy and keep posting up the pictures everybody! Andrew

I think these pictures were taken relatively recently, when Hayley was recording some live sessions for the radio. I'll see if I can find the appropriate thread and link for you. Maybe Roger or Dave would be able to source the appropriate information before me though? Regards, Andrew

Hi Andrew! The first picture is indeed from a radio station - 92.1 More FM Canterbury. The caption on the website says, 'Si and Gary "talk jive" with Hayley Westenra' Though I can't find a transcript or anything. I'll keep looking. I have sent Si and Gary an e-mail and enquired about their meeting with Hayley. I'll let you know if I recieve anything back. The second and third photos are from another radio station or so it would appear. I listened to the interview/conversation Hayley and John had at the Piano Bar.... www.clyde2.com/showdj.asp?DJID=19770 You can listen to it there! <3 Caite
