Hi Dave,
Thanks for that, the source was I think indeed Hayley Westenra & Friends, and I take it that the gentleman with Hayley is Jason. but I can not find that stated anywhere?
The reason I had not given credit is that I do not know who actually took the photograph, presumably if NZ law is similar to UK law the copyright belongs to the photographer not the subject?
Its a difficult one as it was also probably Jason's camera?
Apologies if I have not followed proper protocol. I will try to ascertain the source in future, although its not always easy if you pick the images up from Google Images.

Steve H Sticking in an oar from a publisher's viewpoint I would observe that the use, manner, intent and context are covered by 'fair personal use'. When I get the chance, which I won't have for a few days, I'll try and check it authoritatively. i have just updated my own reference sources (book arrived the other day and so far sits on the table waiting examinatiion) with A Usser's Guide to Copyright. As one would expect, it's a fairly weighty tome at an horrendous price of some £40, but I get publisher's discount which makes it manageble! Peter

Hi Steve, I wasn't intending to get into the finer points of copyright, I just assumed you'd forgotten to mention the source (as I've been known to do!). Most people publishing photos on the 'web seem to be happy with a simple credit to their website or forum (unless stated otherwise) but you're right, we don't know who actually owns the copyright in this case so I guess Jason is the next best thing! Peter, thanks but I don't think we want to get into the technicalities of it Cheers, Dave

Hi All, There is not a thread yet for just 'Pictures of Hayley', these are neither Funny or my Favorites, but they are ones I have not seen before, so if I havn't then some of you probably have not either i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBut then I bet some of you will be able to tell me where the pictures were taken This one was part of a BBC coverage of The first slab in Nottingham's new look Market Square. Hi Steve, I don't remember seeing the first one before. I have seen the others but don't remember where. Here are some screenshots I took from the DVD 'Live From New Zealand' which I rather like. Roger

Hi All, I think the images of Hayley which Steve was referring to came from a Japanese magazine entitled, "e cube" although the title at the top of the page reads "NZ's city magazine supporting your dreams come true". Hayley has featured within at least 2 issues (August 2003 and October 2004): There is a link to the later issue below www.ecube.co.nz/03extra/hayley_westenra/This issue features the first image which Steve was referring to. Hayley also featured in the earlier issue mentioned: Regards, Andrew

They sure do, Steve. Oddly enough, all four that I posted from the DVD were taken while she was singing 'Wuthering Heights"! Spooky! Roger

If you read the title of the thread carefully, the word 'favourite' could refer to Hayley or the pictures, and for many people, including me, both! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifSorted!!! Great pictures everybody! Richard
