Hello everybody! I've just been listening to Radio HWI, and it's wonderful. I had to download Media Player 9 first, due to these cheap computers in the Internet Café, but then it worked beautifully! Well done Simon! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifBest Wishes, Richard

Hi All, I'm delighted with the new "Radio 'HWI' " feature... Now that I'm receiving Radio HWI in super FM quality sound, I am going to set my radio alarm to wake up to this every morning! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif If I want to tune in and listen in the car, is the frequency 104 FM (as in... 10th April, Hayley's birthday) ? Just a thought :je Err...I've been altering my radio preset channels and somehow I don't seem to be able to pick up Classic FM anymore! Regards, Andrew

Hi All! I don't know when the official site changed--I have enough difficulty keeping up with what happens on this one, but even 'knowing of' HWI's changes let alone being influenced by their happening, I reckon it is our Simon who keeps the official site on its toes and for ever improving--not a patch on HWI, of course and 'wow!', to use a Hayley expression which she probably used to herself when she first saw what a site we have now. I'm intrigued, just out of curiosity. Does the number of pages change automatically when a new page goes up, or does that line rely upon a manual awareness? Well done Simon. Thank you for all your VERY HARD EFFORT Now you've 'finished; (if you ever do for how ever short a time!) tinkering, I'll polish off that précis I promised for Gawsworth for you. Peter

Hi Peter,
I am not aware that the official site has changed. Simon certainly has no connection with them whatsoever. *Officially*, none of us do.
The number of pages on HWI are counted automatically but only when Simon presses the appropriate button to instruct the software so to do. He then updates the front page with the appropriate figure.
There is still a lot to be done with the site overhaul but the great majority of the site is available and much improved for everyone's enjoyment. My personal thanks to Simon are hereby added to those already expressed.
Roger

I was not intending to imply anyone at HWI had any direct connection with the official site. What I was meaning was that HWI was the front runner in initiatives. After all, wasn't it HWI that had the forum before the official site provided one? I was seeing HWI as being the 'pusher' by example, CAUSING the official site to 'keep up'! Peter

Hi Simon and Roger ! Thank you for the great new site of HWI. I also like the Radio HWI. Especially because it gives me the opportunity to listen to the "older" tracks before Pure was released. I'll try to receive copies of "My Gift to You" and "Hayley Westenra" soon. Where would we be without you? Thanks again! Thomas

Hi Peter, Thanks for elucidating. Yes, HWI were the first to have a public forum... by approximately 2.5 years, I think. When the official site began theirs, I wondered if they had followed our example but we will probably never know for sure. However, I have to concede defeat on another matter. "Tautological" beats "elucidating" in the field of sesquipedalianism! Roger

Roger Hi All, If our "Postscript" is agreeable, I think we should put his name forward as a candidate for Channel 4's "Countdown". His word power will knock the panel for six! For anyone who doesn't have a clue what I'm talking about, "Countdown" is a TV programme where contestants have to think of the longest possible word (of up to 9 letters in length) within a time limit of 30 seconds from a random selection of vowels and consonants. Very entertaining! Regards, Andrew

Simon,
What are you on? That is amazing. HW.com will never catch up now. That certainly beats the alarm clock that I was waiting for.
Do you ever sleep?

Tomorrow, can we expect a Hayley Westenra Rose, a la Monty Python, to grow out of the screen?
