Hi Steve, That is a really nice collection and, if I may say so, you displayed them far better than I did! Stephany, it is early days for you yet and, if you have the three international albums already, it is a fine start. I know Richard would join me in encouraging you to look for Hayley's DVD 'Live From New Zealand' and also the new one with Celtic Woman 'A New Journey'. Both are excellent. As for having them signed, you day will come. I just know it! Roger

Steve, your collection is extremely impressive. I only have Pure, Odyssey and Treasure - and none are signed. And I signed the petition!! SAVE THE PLANET!! Hi Stephany WOW!! It's been so busy on the Forum just lately I've hardly had time to keep up with the posts, let alone post myself!! So a belated and very warm welcome to the Forum. You have already discovered what a wonderful place it is to be, so I don't need to go into that. Now, you have 3 CD's and Hayley's DVD "Live in New Zealand" has been recommended (a recommendation I heartily endorse by the way!) I would also recommend Paul Little's book "The World at Her Feet" you will learn just about everything there is to know about Hayley growing up - it's a fabulous read. There are also two other CD's "Hayley Westenra" and "My Gift To You" both can be picked up on Ebay. Look forward to meeting you at one of Hayley's concerts Best wishes Grant

Hello again Stephany
I've just looked on Ebay, the shops section have a copy of "Live in New Zealand" located in Hong Kong for under £6.00 including postage. THAT'S a real bargain!

Hi Stephany, I am sure your collection will grow as you get more addicted! With regard to seeing Hayley, there are still plenty of good seats available for the Monday 9th April at Cadogan Hall, particularly for the second show at 4:30PM. Take Care! Steve H

Hello Grant, Roger, Steve, everyone! Thanks for the suggestions. I have already ordered my "Celtic Woman - a new journey" DVD. I'm still waiting for it, though. And how could I forget my fabulous "Live in New Zealand" DVD?? Of course, I have it!! Actually, at the time, I hadn't hear "Pure" and "Odyssey" yet so I discovered most of the songs watching the DVD. I really enjoyed it and was totally impressed by her performance. She was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!! I didn't know about Paul Little's book "The World at Her Feet". A book on her life, already?! Isn't she a bit young to have a biography done? Or is it simply someone who wrote on the "Hayley phenomenon"? Thanks for the warm welcome, Grant. I'm also looking forward to meeting you - as anybody else on this forum - at one of Hayley's concerts. EDIT : Thanks for the heads up, Steve. Unfortunately, April 9th is too soon for me as I still have classes at University. I'll see with my schedule, though. Maybe I can skip a few classes and come to see Hayley ! (OK - you haven't heard that last part!)

Hi Stephany, Bearing in mind how far you would have to come, I think the concert at Cadogan Hall may prove not to be worthwhile as Hayley is only singing one song. There will be other concerts later in the year which she will be headlining. If you are available, I would recommend you wait for one of those. Meanwhile, enjoy the DVD that you forgot you had! Roger

Hi Stephany
Paul Little is a well known NZ writer and wrote this book with the full blessing and co-operation of Hayley and her family.
It traces her early beginnings from her starring role in "The Littlest Star" up to the release of Pure. I've already read mine several times and never tire of it.
Incidentally, it was one of the first things Hayley signed for me. I actually ran out and bought it after a concert in London (10 o'clock at night!) and told Hayley that I had just bought it. She smiled and said "cool!" - I melted.
That was a gorgeous moment for me. Your time will come, never doubt that!
God bless
Grant

.... And believe me, the sight of Grant melting in front of you is enough to make Hayley sign anything! Actually, Hayley signing my copy of the book holds special memories for me too. It was the first time she signed something without having to ask my name. As I saw her write the words "To Roger", I exclaimed incredulously, "You remembered?" "Of course", she replied. Guess what I did next? Yep, I melted! Roger

I got both versions of Odyssey signed by her, and it was a great experience to finally meet the lady whose voice has had such an effect on me, and to get a photo! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gif Heehee! Hello Stephany! I've also read Hayley's book many times at home, and it reveals how stable Hayley is. Her career has progressed considerably since it was written, but she still hasn't changed as a person. I've seen Hayley in concert sixteen times so far, and I met her every time. I don't have to remind her of my name either, but I'm not sure if that's good or bad! I hope to meet you at a Hayley concert soon. London is less than three hours from Paris by Eurostar! Best Wishes, Richard

Or is it simply someone who wrote on the "Hayley phenomenon"? Hi Stephany, In short, yes she is (was) unusually young to be the subject of a authorized biography. Our feeling at the time was that there was an amazing story to tell and that it was right to tell it before many details were lost in the mists of time. I haven't seen any sales figures but I believe it sold pretty well. That suggests it was a good decision to publish it when they did. Mmm, I think it's about time I read it again! Roger

Here is my collection. I am not allowed to have all my collection on display. Do you think Denise is a little jealous? There is quite a bit in it - photos, programmes, cd's, book etc. But I can't have a "Hayley Room" to display it all. This is the one exception, Denise had it framed for a Christmas present. So I guess she's not too jealous! George
