Hi Dave, Looking at the top ten again, there are only three songs that I recognise. 'Both Sides Now', 'Big Yellow Taxi' and 'Chelsea Morning' Actually, there weren't 438 covers, there were 439..... I was in a group in the 70s and we recorded it! I suppose you'll tell me it doesn't count as it wasn't commercially released. Hmph! Roger

I saw Hayley on 2 Feb in Boston where she opened for Il Divo. After the show there was a man outside handing out CD Samplers from Odyssey. The two songs included were "Both Sides Now" and "Prayer". This makes me suspect that "Both Sides Now" will be released as a single in the U.S.. I will write back if I see it in the stores. I am attaching scans of the front and back of the sampler.

Hi Everybody, I now have a few copies of the Both Sides Now single CD, it can be purchased for as little as £1.50 at times on ebay. you just need to keep an eye on them as they come and go quite quickly. At least two copies I have are marked "Demo" and includes a short history of Hayley's achievements to date, and have been dispatched directly from DECCA in the USA. I think the decision for Hayley to sing this particular song was masterful, for Hayley to continue on her soaring career she must appeal to as wide an audience as possible, my daughter who is just 22 years old, after hearing Both Sides Now for the first time recently has just brought her own copy of Odyssey. Mind you she has never heard of Joni Mitchel !!! Best wishes, and happy hunting! Steve H

I'd love it if Hayley would re-release this single with two separate versions on it: A. the existing Joni Mitchell cover; and, B. a new rendition in the style of Judy Collins which for many of us is the preferred arrangement.
That way she could really bring us "both sides" now!
