Eureka! I'm happy again today! i.postimg.cc/9fYxy370/smilie-big-grin.gifI managed to download a Real Player and listened to the interview. The sound quality is very poor, but I could understand what Hayley was saying. Clearly her work with UNICEF means a lot to her, so I wish Hayley continued success with her fund-raising efforts. I'm sure we all do. Bye for now, Richard

Hi Everyone, There is a Hayley Westenra exclusive in the New Zealand Women's Weekly 2 May edition. 4 pages on Hayley's trip to Ghana. Lots of pictures, The editor of the Womens Weekly who had sent a staff writer with Hayley on the trip had this to say Spending seven days in Africa with kiwi singer Hayley Westenra sounded like a dream trip. But for staff writer Mere Mulu, and Hayley herself,it turned into a life-changing experience. Both were moved to tears more than once as they travelled through Ghana together as part of Hayley's new role as Unicef Ambassador.and both have returned with some vivid memories. For Mere, what really stood out during her trip was 18 year old Hayley's maturity, compassion and intelligence. she impressed everyone she met, she's a real credit to the country,

Thanks for that Belinda, it's great news! If I could get my hands on a copy of NZ Women's weekly over in the UK (not very likely!) I'd be off to buy one!
Richard, do you ever see such magazines when you are in central London?
Cheers!
Dave

Hello Dave! I know a couple of New Zealand shops, one in Covent Garden and the other in Pall Mall. I'll have a look, and if I find the relevant magazine I'll buy a couple of copies and let you know. Also WH Smith in Selfridges stocks Australian magazines, but I don't know if they have any from New Zealand. Fingers crossed, Richard

(1) Sorry Dave, the New Zealand shops are only gift shops, and they don't sell the weekly magazines. No luck in Selfridges either! (2) Hello Belinda, and thank you for the information on the article about Hayley's visit to Ghana in New Zealand Woman's Weekly. I hope you don't mind me asking, but is there any possibility of scanning the article for possible inclusion on the Hayley Westenra International web site? We really would appreciate any articles or information from New Zealand about Hayley's wonderful work with UNICEF. Many thanks, and best wishes from London, Richard

Thanks for that Richard, So I must have been a ferret? 'To uncover and bring to light by searching. Often used with out: “Their work merely points the way for others to ferret out the core components of all proteins” (Natalie Angier).'
Got that off Dictionary.com, the first part is kind of right. Im just jammy with all my searches really!!!!. Masaya Ohara's site is very good and great for updates from Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Also Gerrit K has put some scans from this on his site: groups.msn.com/RussellWatsonHayleyWestenra/nzwomensweeklyghana.msnwBye, Emmett.

Hi Emmett - actually, I didn't put those scans on - Belinda did . Right now, from the UK's Russell Watson fan site, the MSN group is the 4th most visited Russell Watson site - and I have reasons to believe it is also the fourth or fifth most frequently visited Hayley Westenra site ... I think that's all got to do with all the videos that can be downloaded there ....
