Yeah, I probably won't get that, but it's great, nonetheless. I'm glad he's releasing something, and that this show has been so successful, but, as we always say with Hayley, I'm waiting for the "real" thing.

I saw Josh on GMA the other day. I enjoyed this performance, and so I decided if there were to be a DVD of the show, I'd get that. But not necessarily an album. And in the interview, he said that he'd probably shave off his beard when he's done with the show. Good to know.

Well, the Tony's are next weekend. I hope Josh and the show win! Speaking of which, I think this broadway show has contributed to a huge spike in visits to the Josh Groban forum. Which means... the Hayley thread that I started has seen an explosion in the number of views! Usually, it gets around 10 views per day, sometimes more, but usually less. However, recently, it almost consistently is around 20, but the past few days, has been much more than that. Just in the last 2 days, it got 100 new views! I can't think of anything else other than the fact that Josh is possibly gaining many new fans due to this show, and when people see it, they decide to look him up more, and eventually find this forum, and browse the other threads, as well. No wonder, because the forum is pretty much dead other than the game threads and the figure skating one (of which I am an active member of discussion there, of course ). It's really a shame there isn't much in the way of solid news or new music to post in that thread, though, because if ever there's a time to attract a load of potentially new AND old fans of Hayley to her/back to her... now would be the time! Well, I did post Greener Lands when Hayley first released it, and I'm not going to lie - I shared the video to the other song, too (which isn't even the whole thing anyway). My last post was the duet with Terry Lin, since it's a song Josh fans are very familiar with, and since Hayley performed it so well (despite what anyone else's thoughts on the matter are). I have posted some of her studio pics, but I did not post the newest ones. I figure there's no point in posting those, because I feel like for any of the regular viewers (and I think there are a few, but they just don't respond), they're probably starting to wonder if anything's ever going to come of those studio sessions (and who can blame them? ). Anyway, in order to keep that thread alive, I have to post something every once in a while, otherwise the thread gets archived. That happened to the thread for the Forte Tenors, but with that, I started a new thread, with the link to the old thread in it, and a reintroduction. So, even if Hayley's thread were to get archived, the link to it would still exist, and I could do the same thing as I did with the Forte one. However, I think I post often enough that it doesn't happen. Also, I'm fairly certain it's the most popular thread in the [other] Music board. It's currently at the top of the board, which helps significantly. I bet a lot of people who view it are familiar with her, though some of them may not be as avid as we are. Many others probably aren't familiar with her, and perhaps click on it just because it's usually the first name visible in that board (and shows up on the front page, too). I tend to think just the name, Hayley Westenra, is so different, that even if people have no idea who she is, they'll be drawn to the name enough that they'll click on it and at least see a little something about her. Then that brings me back to... why does it matter if anyone discovers her anymore? There's hardly anything worth sharing from her anymore. And yet, I do it anyway... some of you think I'm way too impatient and make too much of a fuss about it, but just remember... it's because I care. It's because I know she has more to offer, and she's given us just enough hints to tell us there WILL be new music eventually. It's just a matter of waiting... and waiting... and waiting. Oh well, something has to happen sooner or later (and... we all know it's later).

I've just noticed the Josh Groban thread has the fourth highest number of views on the first page of the Other Music index. The top three are Jackie Evancho, Classical Reflection and Connie Talbot, in that order, and Laura Wright is fifth, so the younger ladies rule with Hayley's fans! Richard

The Comet did not win any Tony's, at least not in the main categories.

No. This looks like a nice tour list for Hayley, though. I'd go to LA for her and nobody else. But... I think she'll come to Seattle someday.

We have the full song here now, just posted today. Now, this video is on his VEVO youtube page, was posted by Josh himself on his social media, and it's not a rip-off, so there wouldn't seem to be any problem posting this: I wasn't sure about it at the beginning, since it's slightly different from his more recognized style, but it really turned out to be a good song!

Yes, I saw that this morning! I'm really digging the sound Josh has with this song. It reminds me of the orchestrations from 'Closer,' but with a little more groove. -Taylor
