There are a few male singers which I enjoy listening to, but my favourite is Christy Moore.

Hello folks! Generally I don't take a great interest in male singers, but I must admit, the more I hear of Jonathan Ansell the more I like him. His voice is definitely growing on me. Richard

Andrea Bocelli for sure! His new album rocks. P.S. Somehow I listen to Andrea's songs more than Hayley's these days. Tin

His voice is definitely growing on me. Me too Richard, I didnt care for him as much at first, but he does seem to be a fungi. Seriously, Jonathan (I like his taste in names ) first struck me as being too nasal for my taste - but he is either overcoming this, or I am noticing it less. I think i still prefer Groban personally, although Hayley couldnt ask for a better duet partner in terms of complimenting her voice. Jon

I think i still prefer Groban personally, although Hayley couldnt ask for a better duet partner in terms of complimenting her voice. I think maybe she could. Helmut Lotti is the best male duet partner she's had, as far as blending well with her voice. He has a very pleasant voice, without drowning her out, or being irritating in his high notes. I think Michael Buble would be good, too, since his voice is similar, and Hayley does great with songs like that. I haven't noticed whether JA sounds nasal since I don't listen to him unless Hayley's singing with him. I do know that the higher he sings, the less I like it. Of course, the first time I heard him sing was Un Giorno Per Noi, which I'd already heard Josh Groban sing 10 times better. JA sounded okay when he sang it by himself, but when he goes higher with Hayley, I don't like it. I enjoy that duet because Hayley was so impressive, but I wish she would sing it by herself sometime. I actually think it would be nice if she would record the song in English (A Time for Us).

You say singer? I say Josh Groban. Fantastic voice. His voice makes me melt everything I hear it.
I also like Rob Thomas (from Matchbox Twenty)
Also like Will Martin, Russell Watson, José Cura and Jonathan Ansell.

One of the best concerts I had ever been to. Thanks for the news on the new tour though, my friend will be ecstatic! And a new album so soon! <3

I've had a think about all the male singers mentioned in this thread and although I quite like several of them, I'd probably choose Michael Buble at the moment, even though he cannot be called a classical crossover singer. What reminded me of this thread was his truly 'live' performance on the UK X-Factor this evening, I thought it was outstanding and it made me realise how very far all the current crop of singers still have to develop. You can watch it on the official X-Factor YouTube channel: Michael Buble - Cry Me A RiverThis guy can really sing. Dave

Oh wow! Michael Buble makes me go weak at the knees! :rollin I knew he'd come onto XFactor and show everyone how it was done! The lighting was simply spectacular and the simple nature of the performance was perfect. This is another of my favourite Buble performances -- 'Feeling Good'. Check that low note at the beginning! www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYe6tmrFxbw
