I read an article that said that Emmy Rossum would be debuting the sequel on Broadway when it was finished, but I think Katherine Jenkins would do an amazing job too - Elizabeth It's highly unlikely that Emmy Rossum will ever reprise the role of Christine. She is now focusing on her solo career and has just released her first album. I read somewhere that she hesitated between pop and classical but didn't want to be classified as a new 'Charlotte Church' so she chose pop. It will be interesting to see how her career expands in the near future. But she will definitely not be in the sequel of the Phantom of the Opera! Stephany Yeah, I have her itunes EP (she released 3 songs a couple of weeks ago) and her full CD comes out in October. I like her music actually- its pop, but its not bubble-gum pop, its really unique. I think I'm getting a bit off topic though! (sorry moderators) - Elizabeth

If Hayley and Emmy are not available to play the part of Christine, I propose the part should be offered to Elizabeth. If you have never heard her sing, believe me, she could do it. Roger Thanks Roger- what a wonderful compliment!

I found your website Elizabeth, and I agree...you could sing the part of Christine! Do you have any interest in acting?!

The title of the sequel is being workshopped as Phantom of the Opera: Once Upon Another Time. According to Mr Lloyd Webber himself, Act one works wonderfully, but they still haven't workshopped Act 2. Those workshops are planned for October and December. Webber won't decide whether to go forward with a full production until January 2009.
Hum. I wonder if Hayley would be interested by musical theater.
